I started caregiving for my grandmother who was suffering from dementia. Being a good caregiver requires a lot of patience. One of my greatest accomplishments as a caregiver was seeing someone recover cognitive ability after switching from nursing home to in home care.

I have always liked people and helped others. I been a caregiver on and off for over 30 years. I have taken care of many people like they were my own family. My patients needs and wants will always come first. I may someday need care and i will give my patients the respect and care that I want for myself if needed someday. For the last three years I have been with a wonderful lady who pass on her 102 birthday and her daughter who will be moving to an independent living on Oct 1. This is why I will be leaving here this house is to big for the both of us and there to many memories here which we both become sad at times. My name is Taviasha I am 20 years old I started home care when I was 16 with my mother , helping with her home care business.
