I am a caring, passionate person who loves to help others. I was a CNA for 3 years. Before that my older brother was disabled. I have a lot of experience regarding assisting others on a day to basis. I love working with other people. It's rewarding when you know you made a difference.

I am hardworking, motivated, patient, always willing to lend a hand, trustworthy, caring. I've always wanted to work in health care, I started as a CNA, I've always liked helping others out when I can, I like taking care of others. So that made me want to be a caregiver. What I enjoy about being a caregiver is forming a bond with an individual and being a support system for them. Helping others to be independent. A personal achievement I am proud of is overcoming being quiet and shy. I was always a shy person and very quiet. I would never speak up or try new things. I didn't like change, it made me uncomfortable. So after I graduated highschool. I got my first full time job, It was a new environment to me and new people. So I finally told myself, it's okay! I met so many new people and began to speak up more and not be so shy.

I am in the Medical Program through Olean CTE Boces. I love to help people. I am a senior in highschool right now soon to graduate. In the mid of July I will be leaving for basic trainjng for the United States Air Force. Hopefully later on I will pursue a career in Neurology.

From 11 years old till i was 21 i assisted taking care of my aunt who has intellectual disability and is also blind, this consisted of helping prepare meals, bathing and dressing. At 14 i helped care for my grandmother while she was in hospice at my home. When i went to high school i got my CNA license through our BOCES program.
