Hello, my name is Lynn hall and I became a caregiver after my divorce, I had no experience and honestly not much work experience as was a stay at home mother.My neighbor said I should try caregiving as she thought I would be a good fit! Welcoming you with warm wishes. Just wanted to share alittle about me. I'm 34 yrs old. I've worked since age 14yrs. My mom was a single mom raising 3 kids. I enjoyed working hard and I have always been a giving hearted person. I remember I used to get my paychecks an was so excited I was able to but my mom dinner from a days hard of work. I was first introduced to an entry level position in the State of Kansas as a Residential Trainer for people who face physical and mental challenges and I did that for 3 years. It was so rewarding. Very hard work but I have always been very open to learning new things and I enjoy challenges. If we stay in where were comfortable. The you limit yourself from learning and doing what you can to be the hands and feet for Gods kingdom. After doing that for 3 yrs I decided to get my nurses aide license and doing that for so many years has been such a wonderful opportunity. I absolutely love my elders and I AM THE VOICE WHO SPEAKS UP FOR THEM. I believe that there is way too many people shoved in a room with a facility that lacks sufficient staffing to give the residents attention to give them the essentials like a regular bath and hygiene and clothes put on. I've seen too much of the THE BAD AND THE UGLY in institutions and to me that's NO WAY for anyone to live or spend there retirement in. I love talking and sharing stories, praying, I enjoy providing exceptional care to all clients I come in contact. I'm very friendly. My passion in life is people going above and beyond the call of duty. I'm flexible and reliable as I dont have any kids. Just 3 sweet dogs. I was a professional caregiver on and off since 1975. I am compassionate and well trained in caregiving. I enjoy spending time with those I care for and meeting their needs. I enjoy doing something I love and also being able to get paid for it. I have held awards for caregiver of the year from a job and promoted to head supervisor in a nursing home I worked in for many years.

I like to ease into how they live and see what expectations are and hope that I'm the help needed. I'm very loyal , honest and very trustworthy. I love to hear where they've been and their life accomplishments. I feel I have an old soul even at fifty . I will cook , clean, laundry, shower assist , fix their hair , run errands and shop if needed. I just want to make life easier .

I enjoy being a caregiver because the year I started being a caregiver was in 2018 and the first day I started I knew right there at my first job was full time and I bonded over time with the individuals that I served. What attracted me being a caregiver was when I applied at Midwest health services and I wanted to try something different because before that I was a cashier at Kroger for a total of 19 years. After I started being a caregiver and as I learned about each individual by talking with them and taking them out in the community and we both did things together and right then and there I discovered that being a caregiver is my niche in life. I really do enjoy being a caregiver because I like to help my clients to live a better life and I always want to do things with them that they enjoy so they feel more independent. The personal achievement that I got at my first job being a caregiver they promoted me to a team leader and they made me full time at the house that had 3 individuals in it which was a honor because each day I learned more about my clients wants and needs and I strive to meet their goals in life.

I am Very outgoing and bubbly, love talking and getting to know people while helping support them. My heart finds joy in helping others and that makes this a great career choice for me. I have 25 years of healthcare experience.

I love taking and helping people. Putting smiles on peoples faces and making sure that they are well taken care of. That I have been taking care of patients for 15 years and I love it and enjoy it. I became an stna in 2000, I wanted to be like my grandma a nurse but i have never made it that far because I like the line of work i do now. I just love taking care of people regardless. I am a caring person, and love what i do.

I have worked with elder care for over 18 years. The bulk of my time has been with hospice care but I also have experience with Alzheimers, Diabetes, and movement disorders (MS, ALS etc) I will always care for you family as if they were my own.
