I am compassionate,patient, kind, honest and hardworking Mother of 4. I love getting to know new people and take pride in being able to help in any field I'm needed. It's not just about a job but getting to know my clients on a personal level. I believe being a caregiver takes a special kind of person who works not only on a professional level but from the heart. If I don't know something I'm open to learning new skills so I can better assist my clients. My greatest achievements are my 4 Amazing kids. I love being a Mother and I teach my children to have kind, accepting, loving hearts. My goal is to raise honest, hardworking members of society. One of my biggest accomplishments was graduating the phlebotomy course at LBCC. Unfortunately I never found a job in that field upon completion.

I have been a caregiver off and on since 1993. My wife and I cared for her parents until they passed away in our home. We were live in caregivers for some dear friends of ours until they passed away in their home. I believe the only way to become a great caregiver is to be willing to learn from your client. No person is alike and no problem the same.

I love working as a caregiver. I am from a small town in Kansas, and lived much of my early childhood helping to take care of my elderly family members, which lead me to healthcare after high school. After my great grandmothers had both passed from neurodegenerative disorders, I decided to take my education one step further and started working in mental health, where I learned about the effects of trauma on the brain and proper reactions to trauma. I most enjoy being a caregiver because I know we all deserve to have someone who cares helping us, and who has the patience to step back and ask the important questions. I am proud of myself for getting myself through school and finding a way to move halfway across the country to find a place to truly call home.

I have been caregiving since I was 16. I helped take care of my grandma, she passed away from cancer, then a few months ago I helped take care of my grandpa until he passed.
