I became a CNA in 1997 when my aunt was in a nursing home. I saw all the folks that needed love and care and thought I would give it a try. Well 2014 I am still a caregiver and can not imagine doing anything else. I have worked in Long Term Care, Home Health Agencies , Group Homes and private duty. My favorite being private duty with one on one care. I love helping people with their everyday needs and try to put some spice in their life by taking them out or offering fun activities in the home. I am willing to travel away from home, currently all my clients are in Centre County.

I later decided to further my education to phlebotomy. Caring for people has and always will be my passion. I enjoy learning, I'm very passionate, caring, energetic and an all around happy a person. I have a lot of skills in house keeping, laundry, helping people with daily things from bathing, dressing, to preparing food. I am also very good as a companion for I do have a huge family of 6 kids. I treat my clients with respect and encouragement. I encourage them to do what they can on their own and what they can't do or don't feel comfortable with I assist. I treat my clients like they are my own family because they are someone's loved ones and deserve to be treated with respect. I became a caregiver over four years ago because someone I was very close to needed a caregiver and was being mistreated by some of his caregivers he had so to stop him from being mistreated I took over their time to make sure he was being properly taken care of. The thing I enjoy most is bonding with each of my clients and hearing their stories.
