I believe what makes me a great caregiver is the experience I have. I have 5 years experience working for an agency and independently. I have significant experience with hospice care, dementia, Alzheimers , Parkinson's, COPD, cancers, companion care and the general everyday care of those that can't do things for themselves anymore like cooking, cleaning, grocery shopping and showers. I always keep medical books in the homes of my clients/patients. On every shift I always take blood pressure , temperature and oxygen so that Vitals can be monitored regularly for any changes. The medical books will keep logs of daily living such as any Dr appointments, mood changes, medications, vitals, daily diet and activities. It's important to catch/detect any change in health. Communication is big with me on keeping everyone on the same page so that the best care can be given at all times. I'm a registered health care aid, . CPR/First Aide certified. I became a health care aide because I believe our loved ones get better care at home from one on one care opposed to a nursing home.

I have worked in this field for many years. I am knowledgeable with Dementia./ Elderly care. Helping people is my passion. The enjoyment you get from this is not measurable. I love to cook, bake and involve my clients in either taking them for a drive, shopping, playing cards or even sitting while chatting having tea/coffee. I advocate for my clients when needed and assist with daily activities. For me They are not only clients they are like family . I am a Non-smoker experience with Bathing / Dressing Medication Prompting, Mobility Assistance , Help Staying Physically Active. I am available for any shift days, nights and weekends . clean driving record and clean criminal back ground. I am a veteran of the US Navy. I am reliable and have excellent references. im certified HHA AND fully vaccinated for covid and flu.

Hello, I am a excited to be your caregiver. I am an experienced HHA.I have over 20 years. I have worked and trained as a CNA,HHA with administering medication training. I also have over 15 years training in mental health, crises, substance abuse and forensic ( BCCF working with inmates) experience. I have also worked with intellectually disabled and have been trained. I love to learn and don't mind hard work. I enjoy cleaning and disinfecting. On a personal note, I have 4 children 2 girls 28,25 and a son 22 and another girl 11. I have one granddaughter 4 and boy she is a spitfire. My family is my heart, pride and my everything. I have taken care of family members. I decide I would go into care giving because I care how the person feels and I like to help in any way I can. I enjoy making the person feel better after bath and grooming. I am proud to able to do what I do for clients

Hello. I would like to take a minute and tell you a little bit about why I became a CNA and caregiver. First of all I enjoy everything there is to be about caring for someone's loved ones, I feel that just being with them and making sure they get the best out of life and meeting their needs is a big positive step to them being happy. I was very excited when I passed my exam to become a CNA and knew I was gonna make a difference in patients lives. I take my job very serious and make sure I fulfill every aspect of my patients daily lives. I have alot of experience in caregiving and CNA work that I would like to share my expertise with others. Im trained in just about everything that it takes to be a caregiver and CNA, I enjoy my profession and I will never stop learning every piece of knowledge I learn is beneficial for my patients.

What makes me a great caregiver I've learned to hear & listen as well have compassion. All my teen age life I wanted to care for elderly & children, I started working with individuals with develop disabilities ages range 18yrs - 70yrs, I thought to myself this is great later I came across working with senior citizens my heart, soul and mind was complete I found my goal this has been a passion and hearts desire. what I love most about being a care giver is being there physically, mentally, spiritually to comfort to have an ear and hand to help make another client day better than the day before. My personal achievement I'm proud of knowing that I made another persons day.

I'm very caring, I like working with the elderly because I think putting a smile on their face is the most important thing about being a caregiver. I also enjoy their company and love spending time with them and making their day complete. I'm also very passionate about how the elderly feel and what's going on with them.
