This is a little about me. I am a down to earth individual. I chose to get into the medical field because I was tired of working jobs that paid minimum wage and not enough hours. I wanted to do CNA because it suits my personality well. I have always taken care of my family so I thought why not get paid for doing what I already do. Since being a CNA I have saved up for my own apartment. I could not have gotten my apartment with a warehouse job or working at a fast food place. I really like it when the client and I have a good bond and a great understanding. I like to make people laugh because I believe that is the best medicine. I believe in treating people the way you want to be treated. So if you allow me to take care of your loved one you will not be disappointed

I'm a very caring individual that likes to help the elderly in need. Starting when My dad was diagnosed with cancer in 2017. I helped my mom with care for him. I saw it through with hospice where he passed at home in 2018. I enjoy the one on one care with the other person, getting to know their needs and Interests makes it a fun and engaged atmosphere to make them as comfortable as possible. I'm glad to say that I've helped the person I care for to engage in more exercise In going up and down the stairs , slowly , but she did it instead of using her chair Lift! She felt better about herself for her ability to work on her knee issues! She did great! I was very pleased that she went up and down the stairs on her own, with my Guidance of course, but she succeeded in applying herself in some good exercise! I'm currently available on Monday , Tuesdays, Wednesday, and Friday mornings /afternoons. Hours available between 9-2. Available every other Sunday 9-2

I have been a caregiver for 10+ years. From companionship to hospice clients. I have a big heart and find joy into helping others.

As a personal care assistant I will provide all client with the physical daily activities and personal hygiene, including bathing, dressing , getting out of bed, standing or exercising. Ensure client received appropriate diet by reviewing their daily restrictions food , allergy and Preferences. Helping client maintain a stable peaceful experience and to build a strong relationship with me as a personal care assistant as always been my Goal . I enjoy helping others and making a different in someone live who is incapable of doing so for themselves is what I enjoy most about being a caregiver.

l became a caregiver because it is one of the most rewarding things, one can do. l have a passion for putting others first, when you see somebody able to lead a happy, safe and fulfilling life that otherwise would be a challenge. And there is simply no reward quite like watching the smile emerge and hearing their laughter. The thing that l love most about caregiving is making a difference in people's lives, bringing hope and a smile to their faces. My personal achievement that l am most proud of is being recognized as the best caregiver of the month, a long term without absence from work. And l also trained and educated others. l am kind, hardworking, loving, compassionate, emphatic and l love what l do with a passion.

I'm a patient person. Since I have recovered from a stroke, I'm very aware of what is needed to care for people with disabilities. Building relationships with whoever I am taking care of is a huge benefit to myself as well as a client. I am working on my CNA license. The test is all that needs to be done. I'm proud of raising a family,and working at a assisted living facility The residents make me smile . My skills are as follows, Bathing, dressing,. Application of ointments and powders, feeding, laundry, and most of all, loving the fact that I can help give a person their best life. I decided to go into this field after spending time with my mother as she grew older. I give the residents the same care and compassion.

I'm a very friendly and kind. I really enjoy helping others. I value each individual regardless of age, sex, religion, culture values, etc. I find it very rewarding being able to impact someones life in a positive way. I'm ver honored to have the opportunity to work with individuals in need and to be able to be part of their lives.

My first job, at age 10, was summer companion to my maternal grandmother. Working for the family matriarch required abundant labor (my grandmother was elderly), but the daily chores gave rise to an unexpected pleasure; I liked being responsible. For 12 lovely summers, I cleared the acorns from her croquet court, hiked to the store to buy her groceries, and delivered her (she did not drive) by rowboat to tea at the homes of neighbors. Within the formality of her cottage, I learned to be a responsible member of a household. And whether I felt like it or not, I learned to be good company. Still under my grandmother's spell, I have worked as a lady's companion and as a gentleman's secretary for more than 20 years. Although I am no longer gathering acorns, I accompany my employers on their travels, keep them company at cultural events, edit their memoirs, and teach them them how to draw and paint. I have found these employments to be congenial and remunerative. They give me great pleasure.
