Being a caregiver is more than a job, it's my true calling. Helping people in need is something that I truly enjoy. I am a mother of two and want the best for my children. That love and compassion carries over into my career. Caregivers are called into very delicate situations and our job is to alleviate stress for clients and their family. A "good" caregiver can truly make a difference in a person's life.

Hi, I'm Tasha, I am looking forward to working with amazing people. I have been in health care my entire life in one way or another. I have worked im nursing homes, assisted living and in private homes. I have cared for people "from the cradle to the grave". I have worked with people with different degrees of mental, physiological and developmental status. I love conversation, I learn so much by just conversing. I believe that, if one wants to, any encounter can be a learning experience. I treat those I care for (clients), as I would treat anyone I cared for (family, friends). As a client, you are someone's "something" parent, child, spouse, sibling, etc. And you, as a person, are worthy of positive interactions, relationships, and a quality of life. My job is to relate that to you, in action and in thought. You have a right to be the person you were meant to be. You are the only one in control, you know your wants and desires, who am I to judge you, or talk against you and your wishes. I am not saying that EVERYTHING you want will be handed to you, but..is it really a big deal if you have dessert before or after a meal? I've worked with a lot of people (cradle to the grave) who have others put "demands" and "ought toos" and "shouldn't haves" on their loved ones. With moderation, does it really matter if the shower is given day or at night? Pending other plans, but, my life has been a struggle, why complicate it more with unnecessary "demands" all the time. I hope our time together will be meaningful and we can learn something new from each other along the way.

I take my clients very serious. They deserve the up most respect,empathy,and compassion. I enjoy helping out my elders. I enjoy the wisdom I get from their past knowledge. The gratitude the have makes my heart overjoyed. When I passed and got my CNA licence. it was one of my achievements that I received because of my interest in caregiving. It helped me to.find my true calling in life.

I became a caregiver because I have always enjoyed helping people and find it rewarding. What I like about being a caregiver is knowing that I can make a difference in someone's life and the lasting relationships I build with those I care for. I currently have 24 yrs experience being a caregiver, mainly hands on experience with Alzheimer's, dementia, cancer, and paraplegic clients. I am a happy go lucky person full of energy and guaranteed to brighten your day no matter what. I do believe this is my calling in life.

I like the elderly, they have lots of knowledge. I helped both my parents before they passed. Both had dementia of some degree. I love to cook. I take pride in my work. I will shop and will laundry and make sure everything is clean and well sanitized be leaving.

Hi I am a happy, attentive person who enjoys working to help maintain independence and a good quality lifestyle while still in the home. I have worked with clients who deal with dimentia, diabetes, cancer. I enjoy helping to make meals, bathing, dressing, adding makeup as requested or rollers in the hair. I am able transport as requested and just enjoy being company and attentive to each person I have privilege of working for. I do have much to learn but I also strive to be the best I can be.
