7 years ago I started out by being a caregiver for my grandmother. She had a stroke and needed help getting around the house. Since then I've been working with others to help make their living easy. I've worked with people who have dementia. I enjoy helping others out . Especially to the ones who really need it. I worked at a memory care and assisting living facility for 6 years. I'm now looking for one on one care . I hope I can make you and your loves one life easier. I work full time but I'm free early mornings. Looking for a minimum of 15 hrs a week.Katy area ONLY.

Being a caregiver is not only a pleasure, but it is heartwarming to know that I can be a part of someone's life and make a difference. Growing up I was a little girl who loved being by my grandma's size, whether she was sick or well.She was my pride and joy and I was hers'. I am a loving caring Person I have always wanted to work with elderly residents and show them love and care . I would always look in the newspaper and see that CNA is always needed so I took the time and patients and signed up for the class. I am proud to say I love what I do and what I can do for the residents..

I love being a caregiver

I am capable of being a great care giver because I am attentive and not judgemental. I became a caregiver by accident, my mother lost her memory with little warning, (she was handing her own affairs well and within a few days she was incapable of managing her own affairs), and soon after lost her ability to walk, at the time I was unemployed and so became a caregiver. In spite of not having given this line of work any previous consideration. Becoming a caregiver for people outside my family acquainted me with how other people lived. My interest has always been people and spending a considerable amount of time in homes, allows me insights that other jobs don't give. Growing up I always enjoyed my grandmother recalling the life experiences that made her the type of person she was. I take pride in being a unique individual and not being just like everyone else. I am not just a member of a collective.

I am a very loving trustworthy person helping other out gives me a joy of accomplishments I am always exciting to meet new people and hearing about their life stories. Being a caregiver is a passion for me and always will, This is something I absolutely love doing . My personal achievement I am proud of is helping others out when they need the help the most

I'm an extremely caring person. I have a 31 year old daughter, I am a widow and have a two cats. I have taken care of two disabled adults, two elderly couple that came out of surgery, a woman with Alzheimers and dementia, a gentleman with dementia. I made sure they were bathe, wash clothing, folded clothing, changed feeding tubes, drove them to doctor's appointments, drove them to visit neighbors, made breakfast, lunch, and sometimes dinner. I also would change the bed every other day. I did light cleaning. I consider myself to be attentive, kind and patient. I know that I can be there for someone if they needed a companion, or small duties of which I've already done in the past. I have a vehicle but I'd prefer to use the patient's vehicle for anything we have to go run errands for. I am currently living in Brookshire Texas. I am willing to learn or be trained for something I have not yet assisted with. I do not have a license as nurse but I am CPR Certified. I am willing to work with ages 25 and up. Will not take COVID vaccine. I would not like to work in an environment where there are too many animals or and pitbulls. I hope I can be of assistance.
