My personal experience with caregiving began with my mom, who I took care of until she passed. I realized that this job was a good fit for me because of that. We have a 4 year old German Shepherd named Axl, a kitten named Stevie, and a pit/lab mix puppy named Peach. I've been drawn to caregiving from a young age, since, when I was 8 years old, my mom was diagnosed with Parkinson's Disease.
