I have a passion for care giving I was a fully qualified registered nurse in the UK and I have provided care for patients living in their own homes for over 20 yrs. I love it. I've worked in a respiratiry ward in the UK in the North Middlesex University Hospital caring for tracheostomy patients discharged from the ICU ward. Cared for patients with Asthma, COPD and acute respiratory conditions in a hospital settings for 3 years. Prior to the hospital experience I care for an Alzheimer's patient in her own home as a live in carer for 9 and a half years until she passed away at 94 years old. I worked in a residential home as well. Ihave a lot of experience.

I am a great caregiver, because I always do my best with alot of passion. My goal is to comport, encourage and make my client feel much better than I found them. Also i remind my clients to count their blessings more than what their facing on a daily basis. I was privileged to serve on a professional team caring for a quadriplegic client, providing full home care--meals, bathing, transfers (without a Hoyer lift), and colostomy and catheter care. I was later chosen to assist a family supporting a loved one with severe Autism and, more recently, helped provide 24-hour care for another quadriplegic client requiring advanced support. Outside caregiving, I successfully self-prepared for a proctored Microsoft certification exam and have taught myself conversational Spanish and basic Mandarin Chinese. 5. Tell us something about yourself. I'm a grandfather of four and remain physically active. I'm also a lifelong student of the Bible who enjoys gospel hymns, nature, animals, gardening, walking, ping pong, and audiobooks.
