I have been in the healthcare field for 10+ years and also have nursing home experience. I have always wanted to help others. I enjoy the relationships that I have built with my clients over the years. I love what I do so much that I want start a home health care business myself eventually.

I am an upbeat, happy CNA of 14 years. I have worked everywhere from in my clients homes to hospital to long term care facilities. I have experience with hoyer lifts, sit to stands and hands on transfers. I have worked with many people with dementia and Alzheimers and I have about a years experience working with the mentally disabled. My personality traits that help me be a great caregiver is my kindness good heart and helpful ways I'm always a easy going caregiver to get along with and I also have fun with my patients. What attracted me to be a caregiver was my my heart. Ever since I was little I always enjoyed helping people because when it was all said and done I felt good about my choices and that I did good deeds. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is that I get to make the clients happy and make them feel like their young again. My personal achievement that I'm proud of is is actually becoming a caregiver because I was always told that I would never be nothing and that I don't have what it takes and I proved them wrong because I went out and did it and completed what I set my mind to.

I'm Caring, Compassionate, and Hard working. I became a caregiver when my Grand mother became ill. I wanted to give her the same care she gave us when my parents split. I always try to give a 110% and would do whatever it takes to make the clients feel as normal as possible. I've been a caregiver for over 20 years. My greatest accomplishment is to have taken courses for the L.P.N. curriculum. I want to make a difference in the lives I touch.

I am 54 years old and will be married for 18 years on May 26th. I am mother of 2 boys and 1 girl. I have two grandchildren; one boy whose 4 years old and a granddaughter who is 3 years old. I've work most of my life in the office environment since graduating high school. I recently transitioned to caregiving for seniors a couple of years ago and I love it. I love working with seniors because they have so much insight on this journey called life. I've learned so much about patience and kindness from them. I've also learned how important it is to listen. They're just really cool individuals who wants love and affection. I like making someone smile and doing little things to make a person's day a little better. I hope that when I get older, someone like myself will be there to help me if I need help.

I have been taking care of people for 12 years. I have both cna and nursing experience. Caregiving is not just a job for me, it is my passion. I love helping people. I believe that our seniors deserve to be treated like Kings and Queens, they have worked all their lives. I'm blessed to still have 3 grandmothers, 3 grandfathers and one great grandmother alive. I cherish every moment with them. Along with my passion to be a caregiver, I am a hard worker. I don't mind going the extra mile when needed.

I have more than 10 years of experience caring for seniors, including seniors with Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia. My tasks include light housekeeping, meal preparation and feeding, laundry, bathing and grooming, shopping and errands, escort to appointments/outings and companionship. I am certified as a Personal Care Aide and have completed the Nurse Aide program at the American Red Cross.

I have been in caregiving since as long as I can remember growing up, my mom was a surgical scrub nurse. My sister went to nursing school did not like the side of blood lol sister-in-law's are nurses in high school. I became obsessed with the television show emergency that did it for me. I became a junior volunteer with the Henrico rescue squad I lived in Hanover. They did not have a squad for juniors yet after high school. I decided to attend school for medical laboratory technology. I've always been interested in the microscope back part of life. Intriguing worked at St Mary's laboratory, for about 13 years and decided to become a nurse very hard to do when you're not living at home, not an excuse many people do it, but I took the education and worked as a caregiver. Nursing assistant nurse tech and enjoyed helping those who cannot help themselves and to show how to cope and manage what you can do.
