I enjoy working with people and most enjoy jobs where you have one on one interaction with others. I enjoy taking care of elder family members and would like to help others in this way. I like doing work that has the potential to make a difference in someone's life. I 'am very loving compassionate , humbly direct wit a great sense of humor, I choose the care field because as a little girl I watch my mother suffer from sickness at the age of 27 .And me her only daughter couldn't help because I was only 9 . I new at that moment I wanted to become apart of the health care field. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is that I get to spend time with different residents daily . I'am very proud of myself for achieving my Ordained prophetess license on July 26 2022 I also have culinary license .I'am very proud of my 5 children ,I've been a widow for 16 years now .I'am very down to earth filled with love and compassion for others very easy to communicate with listen very well not afraid to ask questions .

There are many qualities that make one a great caregiver. My qualities are that I try to do my best when working with residents as well as trying to understand them. Aging out does not mean they do not have needs or that they should not be heard, I try to use critical thinking and make every resident as comfortable as possible so their needs are being met. I am an outgoing person I love to help others and exceed my job expectations, I am a carrying person who is easygoing and takes responsibilities as well as the needs of others seriously. I have a grandfather with dementia and this made me want to help others who need an assistant. I have seen the lack of caregivers there is for elders. I love caregiving because it allows me to have a better understanding of what goes on in others' life and I get to be part of people's life making a difference in assisting them or bringing them a smile. I am proud of the person I am and how far I have gotten with my psychology and social work bachelors that I am currently working on.

I am easy-going, reliable, ask questions when needed and have worked in the field since 1999. I have worked for Community Living Alliance since 1999. I worked for Catholic Charities for a number of years too. I have done sleepovers and awake work. I have also worked with clients with developmental disabilities too.

I studied to be a LPN but during my clinical training there was such a need for CNA'S and I love taking care of people more hands on so I stopped there and starting working as a CNA, which I loved doing then I became very good at working with people suffering with Alzheimers and dementia. I love cooking, listening and being an Companion to people who are lonely, I make sure I am letting them be them and being just what they need to be happier in their life. My mother was a very sick person when I was 12 years old and I took care if her until she died when I was 17 years old. The my grandmother had stomach cancer, and we took care of her until she died. I have the love in me to be the best I can be when caring for people. I have done it for over 25 years.

I love what I do and make families lives easy by helping out and give them a break. I became a caregiver when my granny got sick and needed the extra help.

I have want to be a nurse/ caregiver since I was a little girl. I love helping and taking care of other people who need the help. I feel like it's time to give back to those who need it.

I'm 18 Years old I've been a caregiver for 2 years. I love working with the elderly because its honestly a totally different experience than working with any other age group you are able to learn a lot more and from a whole different perspective and i believe that ever person deserve to be treated with love and care no matter what stage or condition they are in because they are still human beings and deserve to be treated with dignity and respect.
