I started being a caregiver back in 2014 and I love it. I am so glad I can help to make them have a better life. I love every moment of being a caregiver. I love to help, I love hearing stories of their past time. Every moment is rewarding. My personal achievement would be making sure each person gets the right care they need.

I always give 100% and do the best job I can, with no exceptions or excuses. I also try to bring a sense of humor to my work. If I can add a smile or laugh to a client’s day, that means a lot to me. It gave me great satisfaction to give back to her as she did for me growing up. Some people don't have that opportunity to do the same and want the piece of mind someone will care for the loved ones. Hi! My name is Clarissa. I am a very upbeat and kind person who is very positive and compassionate. I am very patient with everyone and take my time when needed and encourage others often. I have a passion for helping others so caregiving comes naturally to me. Having a strong stomach helps with the job, a lot too! My favorite part of being a caregiver is just helping others. Sometimes the things qe fake for granted are the things others need help with the most, & if I can help them and not make them feel bad for needing help I did my job well. I did not do well in school when I was in high school so now that I'm in college doing so well its very validating that I'm on the right path.

Hi there. I have been doing care giving for over 8 years. Whatever task I am assigned to do, I always make sure I give it my 100%. What attracted me to do in home care giving was the thought of helping someone that needed it, and the variety that goes along with it. I absolutely love to house clean, and I would say that is my number 1 stand out job of mine, I have received many compliments about my house cleaning. Something I am very proud of. My personal achievement has been earning The Vision Award from a previous employer, which I have hanging on my wall. I have done Personal Care Work also for over 8 years, so all around, I have plenty of experience. Hello! I'm Amber! I'm 38 years young and have 2 boys my oldest is 16 and my youngest is my special guardian angel. My inspiration to be a caregiver was my family. At the age of 38 my dad had the Widow Maker heart attack. At that point, not knowing if my dad was going to survive is when I realized being in the medical field is where I was meant to be. After my dad got better, my grandma started showing signs of Alzheimer's and Dementia. A very short time later she passed. This was a very difficult time but it was also when being a caregiver made the most sense. In 2016 I attended Fox Valley Technical College and started CNA classes. Along with my CNA I also have all of my CBRF certifications and medication administration. As of January 2022 I'm back at FVTC to further my medical career studying for my Certified Medical Assistant and in the summer I'll be adding EMT-Basic as well! I am truly blessed to have my amazing fiance and my family as my support system and personal cheer squad! I love what I do and I look forward to the next chapter in the book of Me!
