I always treat my clients as if they were my family. I always loved helping my mother with my great uncle he got into a automobile accident in his late 20's and became paralyzed from the neck down and couldn't do much for himself my mom was his caregiver and I always tagged along. After caring for him I knew exactly what I wanted to do with my life. I enjoy sitting down and getting to know each one of my clients. I'm so grateful my mom took in the opportunity to care for my uncle if it wasn't for her taking that role I don't know where I would be today. I absolutely love what I do.

1.) personality traits that i have that i think would fit me best for this job is that, i am very patient, outgoing, i love to meet new people and just get to know them. 2.) what attracted me to this job is because growing up i got to help my mom a lot with her clients and at my current job you meet a lot of elderly people which made my passion for them even better. 3.) Although i've never been a caregiver myself but to help my mom the one i love most is being able to be close with your client and being like family. 4.) my most personal achievement i am proud of is being able to make my coworkers, and bosses proud of me and to make me employee of the month.

Hey! My name is Kiersten. Im 30 years old. I have about 6 years of experience working with disabled/elderly patients. Im certified in CPR and First aid. I have experience driving handicapped vehicles, My first job in this field was taking care of my grandmother. I helped her for the last 3 years she was alive. When i first started helping her out she fell and broke her hip and she never really fully recovered from that. She went on to have 2-3 strokes. She had dementia, and just wasnt the wonderful loving woman she once was. By the end of it all she couldnt walk at all. I would have to wheel her to the bathroom and get her on and off of the toilet. Pick her up and sit her in her favorite chair, and feed her. It was very very hard. Since then, ive worked with a few families and clients with spina bifida, parkinsons, MS, says this has to be less than 200 characters and thats just not possible. if you have any questions please feel free to send me a message!

I am a very patient and understanding person. I love to be a proactive and also as helpful as possible. Nothing is better than being able to bring someone some joy and laughs. I go above and beyond for my patients!! Nothing can beat a kind hearted soul to help with anything you need!

I love caring for anybody and everybody. I have a desire to help people who are in need. I love meeting new people, and building a strong relationship with them knowing I'm changing their life for the better. I am proud of going on a mission trip with my church and helping the homeless and telling them about Jesus and giving them my testimony of what Jesus has done for me.

I became a caregiver early on in my life. I was raised by my Grandmother and she had numerous health issues. I watched and learned from her everyday. After I lost her in 2000, I decided to become a Nursing Assistant. I have worked private care(which is my favorite), hospitals and nursing homes. I much prefer the one on one care because it gives a better chance to connect and learn the patients needs. I am very intuitive on my patient/client at all times.
