I'm a very loving, caring and nurturing person. I have a big loving heart. I believe everybody deserves to be loved, cared for and have somebody there to talk to them and to listen to them. I am proud to say that I am a Christian and that I have some great amazing healthy children and grandchildren. God and my family come first and each and every person's home that I walk into I look at them as my family and they become a big part of my family and I treat them and love them just as they are my family. This is not just a paycheck to me this is about taking care of people and showing them the love and care that they deserve. I have been into clients homes that it is literally broke me into seeing how they have been treated or how they are living and that they have nobody that seems to care. I give client showers, blow dry hair, bruhair and fix hair in pony tail or how they would like it. I brush or help with teeth and or any hygiene that they may need. I change briefs and clean them up. I empty catheters and clean the outside of the bags and empty the follies that I have put the urine in. I have worked with clients that need hoyer lifts to get them to bed and are stuck in motorized wheelchairs. I have worked with dementia patients, Alzheimer's patients, stroke patients, blind patients, paralyzed patients. I also have a father-in-law that is blind and I help with him quite often. I pick up and clean up the house dishes laundry etc. I help meal prep. I hope the clients cook when they would like and I have cooked for them on my own. I have taken clients to get their hair done nails done doctor's appointments and grocery shopping. I have also taken patients to visit friends and family. The traveling part all depends on my finances. I have been a friend, a companion for them to talk to, and just let my clients know that they are important they're cared about and they are loved by me.
