CG for about 12 years. I help them with assistant daily living, medication, check sugar, inject insulin, companionship, cooking and yard work, doc appointment, some errands, light housekeeping.

I have found that my passion/calling is to care for the elderly and/or individuals, who can't do so for themselves. My heart is overwhelmed with genuine happiness when providing care and/or maintaining a personal relationship with each resident, client, and/or patient. I sincerely love fulfilling my heart's desires & passion by providing care, love, companionship, friendship, and even medical care to individuals; resulting in them having a sense of peace, as they go through life changes and having to deal with situations that may be unfamiliar. I find that doing so & providing the utmost respectful care to each of them, brings forth a growth for even myself, as I continue my education into becoming an RN (later to bridge into Nurse Practitioner). Daily, I am seeking the latest knowledge and skill so hopefully I can improve my care traits daily, to a wider/higher demand of clients. I am most definitely proud of a personal achievement in my life pertaining to my husband (who was diagnosed with late stages of Testicular cancer twice)! After receiving a prognosis of 18 months, I decided to further my education & resources, in hopes to find more options....and I did! After nearly 2 years, he is now in remission & cancer-free! This is not to boast about what I did, but instead the 'determination, drive, & passion', that I was blessed with. I will ALWAYS go above & beyond in providing the best care for clients & their family members! I believe there is always room for growth and in order to do so, you must first humble yourself to what you were called to do, whatever that may be!

When I was 18 years old my grandmother got really sick so I helped my mother take care of her on and off as needed it was then I realized I was doing something great everything she could no longer do I was either helping with or doing it for her and at the end of the day it made her smile . So I turned it into a career I'm a very outgoing person I smile everyday no matter what and I have a very compassionate heart and I love being a caregiver cause you never know when one little thing you do for someone is gonna make their day so much better .

I am passionate and caring, I always care for my residents in the best way possible. I wanted to become a caregiver because I wanted to be the person that helps someone who can't help themselves. I have two special needs children of my own, I am 100% positive that I will exceed your expectations in caring for your loved one. it takes a special person with a great amount of live, compassion and patience. My son is almost 10, he has a rare genetic deletion which allowed all these mental/physical health problems. he was diagnosed at 9 months old with bilateral retinoblastoma and underwent 8 rounds of chemo and radiaton and had to have a central line that I had to be trained on how to flush daily and change his site dressing . He also has low functioning autism , he's still in diapers at 10, non verbal, blind in his right eye from the cancer. My daughter is almost 8 and was born with a genetic problem as well. She's has teribleood swings, ADHD, seizures and other mental problems. Sorry if I have over explained I just feel that some of you would like to know that I walk in the same steps as many of you do on a daily basis.

I love taking care of people, I took care of my grandfather when I was 14 years old and then my grandmother and then my mother and I loved doing it, when the caregiver came out to my mother, I watched her and she was truly a blessing, and I realized that's what I wanted to do, I worked at Jaco so House with elderly people who had dementia and alztimers and I fell in love with those precious people, not only was I blessed to help take care of them I also became very attached to them and I sat down and got to spend one on one time with them, they enjoyed it and so did I, with some we danced, played games, and just simply talked, I love those precious souls just like they were my mother or father or daughter, I wouldn't trade it for nothing, it's a very rewarding job and above all I read the BIBLE to them and we talk about JESUS, and I know that JESUS has given me the opportunity to take care of HIS PRECIOUS CHILD!!! My heart is in it very deep and I take it very serious and I don't look at it as a job but as a gift, that JESUS trust's me enough to take excellent care of HIS children
