I'm a great Caregiver because I'm very passionate about my patients. I love what I do. My grandmother attracted me to being a Caregiver she had diabetes & lost both of her legs, I cared for her until she died. It's just in my heart to care for others.

When I was a little girl I had to help with my grandfather. He was in a wheelchair so he needed help with different things. I cooked, cleaned, help give him his pills, and even checked his sugar. Helping take care of my grandfather as I got older really made me feel like I can help other people. I would love to help others just like I did my grandfather. I feel like I would be a wonderful caregiver.

I First Started off in the Healthcare field when My Dad got sick when I was 15 years my mom was dealing with her blood pressure and Diabetes and a varies of stroke and then my dad was diagnosed with multiple myeloma and the chemotherapy treatment was very harsh on his kidneys which lead to Dialysis I became very responsible for both my parents at a very young age and I love every second of caring for pomeone and making them feel good about themselves I decided to become a Certified Nursing Assistant in hopes of becoming a LPN Soon I am 27 years old I have Three Son's ages 7 6& 2

I had went to school for Cna but I miss my test I'm real good at my job I'm real respect n trustworthy I love work with elderly people

I have always been the type of person that loves helping others. I never look at it as being a job. I've always treated my patient like family, as someone I love and care about. Seeing elderly in need is what attracted me as being a caregiver. I enjoy the smile on my paitents face, knowing I was able to help and care for them. A personal achievement that I am proud of is the volunteer work I do for the kids at the local park. Volunteeing my time for a few hours out the week, can make a big difference to the children.

My name is Priscilla Thompson, I am a wife and a mother of three boys. I am kind, loving, devoted, persistent, and goal-oriented. I have worked in this field for years and I enjoy helping those who are in need of my help. I have worked with just about any patient you can think of, I get along with all my patients because my job is to please them in everything I do. I began my career in Healthcare in a hospital laboratory as a venipuncturist/phlebotomist in 1979 in Birmingham, Al. My job was to collect blood from the patients in every unit in this 7 floor hospital and through the years moved to other hospitals and clinics. My career took me in a different direction until a good friend called me and her father had passed and her mother has Alzheimer's. So I went to Florida from Alabama and attended the funeral and saw the need my friend had for her mother's care!! I volunteered to stay in Florida and take care of her. This I did until her mother needed more than one person to take care of her needs and was put in nursing home care. I then decided I would like to continue this kind of work and got my CNA license and I'm enjoying my job today more than ever because it's so rewarding and every client is so unique and different!!
