I started helping with elderly after "raising" my grandparents, who both had Parkinson's. They had such amazing stories and loved to talk about their early years. People just want someone to listen to them. That is mostly what makes the elderly happy. Then later after I retired from my career in Corporate America, I began sitting again. I've had clients I stayed 2-3 days straight to just a few hours a week.

I became a caregiver in 1984, I love taking care of people. I have worked various nursing homes and post surgery in a hospital for 6 years. I have worked in home health care with various agencies and also have done private care. People need a loving and caring person to help them through their situations.

I became a caregiver 30 years ago...stayed at night with an elderly lady...93 years old...and very independent...i fell in love with her...spending time with her...assisting her with little things so that she could live in her own home!...from there...i expanded in to Home Health Care for the elderly...assisted living...and for the last eight years...more private care...including hospice care of my mother...all of my jobs with the elderly have been rewarding in so many ways...love to support myself financially by supporting others!

I have exceptional oral communication skills. I am a compassionate and caring individual. I have had a goal to be in healthcare since grade school. I love caring for others and helping them feel a little better each day. I was once CPR certified but it expired in March. I went through the healthcare course and got my Cna certification and have been working in a facility ever since.

I believe I was put on this earth to be a Caregiver I treat clients like there my own family. I get close with there family and friends to learn all I can about them.
