I started doing caregiving in 2006 working for IHSS. I stayed with them until 2011. I loved the one on one with the client's. I have worked in facilities but didn't like that people weren't always getting the best care from all of the caregivers. I been doing private homes for a lot of years since. I love what I do and I am very grateful to do it. I have a lot of patience and compassion for my clients and there families. I try to give them the best care that they deserve. I do currently work for Cross Country Workforce doing Caregiving. I enjoy my job and I love working with folks. I love being able to help someone that's in need of care. It makes my heart smile.

I became a CNA/HHA at age 17.I have always wanted to work in the medical field to help others.I have worked in several facilities as a caregiver working my way to become a med.tech,supervisor and cottage manager.I have worked for a number of families as well.Most recently, i cared for my mother for a period of 5 years+, untill her death at age 95 on 11/11/15. I am looking forward to going back to work to care for and love someone who needs assistance.

What drove me to be a caregiver is when i realized the need to serve and help others. This passion came when I lived with my grandmother who i loved dearly and as she aged i realized she needed care day by day. I automatically became a caregiver to her, a job I have come to love and perfect professionally. I was attracted to caregiving as a young child when my little sister came home from the NICU with a caregiver to assist my mother with her care.
