I'm a Compassionate and friendly caregiver, who put my clients interest first , I'm great with multi task and quick in thinker in unexpected emergency, I'm train to take care of Alzheimer's ,Dementia, Parkinson, Diabetes , and Cerebral Palsy . I have been doing this for 20 years !!

I'm a positive self starter person. One of my great achievements was graduating from high school at the age of 15 in my country El Salvador and getting my paramedic license by the age of 16. Once I arrived to the US I had to repeat high school graduating with 388 credits. Not speaking any English when I arrived at the age of 17. I was going to media school in el salvador. I'm fluent in both English and Spanish.

I have been into, involved in, and around care giving my whole life; my grandma and great grandma raised me and were both caregivers their whole adult carriers and I would always be with one of them while they were at their work place, and would always allow me to help out as much as I could because I would constantly be asking what I could do to help! So I began to grow a pretty strong passion and love when it came to caring after others that led all the way up to once I was all grown up and taking care of and looking after my grandma in whom I ended up taking care of up until she unfortunately passed away from a heart attack. But I enjoy the bonds and friendships you build with your clients; and always making sure that they know that they aren't alone and seeing the smiles and laughter, and happiness is definitely rewarding

I am a very compassionate and understanding caregiver. I listen to the needs of my clients and can give reference on the two clients I faithfully cared for for long term. I have worked for over twenty years as a caregiver, before I was paid to do it. I cared for my disabled sister who had and have seizures and still does rely completely on others for everything. I cared for my mothers infected wounds from diabetes and also her arthritis plus checked her blood sugar and keept her from going into diabetic shock. I can deduce diabetic shock and can recognize an infected wound. I know how to work a g-t-tube and change depends for adults. Plus I have experience log rolling and using a Hoyt lift. I have cared for a quadriplegic through Maxim Health Care as a respite care worker when I first turned eighteen years old. This care allowed me to learn the lift training, feeding tube usage, log rolling and also administering breathing treatments. I am also IHSS certified.

I became a caregiver to learn & gain experience so that I can care for my own aging loved ones in the future. I found it can be quite rewarding & I also learned alot about what it takes to do this kind of work & how to show compassion & how to deliver care with empathy. I consider my personality to be serious person yet jokative when I need to make a client smile. I realize it is sometimes hard on clients getting to the point of needing a caregiver, it's not always the easiest for them & in my mind I put myself in their position as far as the thoughts & feelings that go through their heads & act accordingly to how I would want a caregiver to act & be for me. What I find to be the most rewarding is forming bonds with clients & realizing now matter what age difference there is that at the end of the day we're all just people trying to make it from one day to another while giving it our best to keep positive outlooks.

I love to care for others before myself. I found that caregiving and other profession's alike are my passion and calling. I am attentive and thorough when it comes to assisting another human being with improving their quality of their life. I have a patient yet ambitious temperament and I love to make others smile. I am working towards applying for the registered nursing program and putting all my organizational skills and medical knowledge to use to obtain my Associates of Science Registered Nursing Degree at College of the Redwoods.

I've always had a heart for the elderly. After working in the medical field for five ears, my love for our seniors has only grown. My grandmother and I always did art projects, but lately she hasn't been able to do as much. I took care of her for a while until my mother eventually found a place where she can receive constant care. It was bittersweet as I knew she'd be okay, but it wasn't me taking care of her. Through it all, I feel as though there's no greater thing I can do than to help those who spent so much of their lives to help us. I am happy, eager, and willing to do whatever it takes to help your loved one!

I'm very passionate about helping people. I like phototherapy and crafts. I'm great with kids.

I enjoy working with others and helping them in there daily life's. Im always on time and make sure the clients get the assistance they need during my time scheduled. I enjoy helping others and being there for them it makes me happy. I have my CPR and First Aid certification.
