I am naturally maternal being the oldest of 3 boys and being the only girl in my family. I don't have any kids of mine own so being a caregiver fulfills those maternal needs in a way of providing care to others. I love to cook and give my residents a great meal. What attracted me to being a caregiver was the growth within the companies that I can continue on with. Also caregiving just came naturally to me because I helped take care of my grandpa who was in his late 80's from the ages of 13-adulthood I helped take care of my great grandpa who lived with us. I carried that into my job field, and it just came naturally to me. I enjoy being a person there who they trust and know they can count of for good quality care. Nothing makes me more happy than hearing "thank god you're here" because that feeling of being trusted by my residents to make the right choices and be there for them really means a lot to me. A personal achievement I have is learning how to bake and cook better for my resident's. Also becoming ultimately stronger as a person when handling these intense emergency situations, they'll prepare you for the real world and real scenarios and that has made me more confident in my day to day life.

I enjoy being a caregiver because it brings me a lot of joy to help someone that is in need. I enjoy working with the public and developing great relationships and providing outstanding care. I am dedicated and compassionate caregiver. I am patient and understanding I will always provide professional caring service with a gentle touch. Safety and security of my clients is always my top concern.

I enjoy helping people. I'm very dependable, loyal, thoughtful, patient, and extremely compassionate. I do have a positive "upbeat" personality. ( I can tone it down when necessary ) I'm also a great cook, enjoy outdoors activities, playing cards, listening, talking and watching older classic movies. I have years of experience which includes, being a mother, a wife, and assisting friends and family with caregiving needs. In closing I have passed the background & registered with the state, TB negative, and completed classes for OSHA and caregiving.

I'm a great care giver because I treat everyone as if there family I take my time and in no hurry I'm very patient I've always been attracted to jobs where I'm helping people I've worked in rest home completed my CNA. 1989 What I love most about doing this work is the appreciation and it makes my heat full .

I started my caregiver journey with my dad in 2001, learning from the ground up I gain knowledge in the aging field and how to provide comfort and joy in a elder's daily life. From there, I joined a continuing care facility and spent the the next 11 years gaining additional knowledge (RCFE and NHA Licensed). I place myself in the senior's shoes to understand what their expectations are and how I can be a partner in helping them navigate this uncertain journey. While some days can be a challenge for that person, I will always make sure my elder friend is happy with the time we spent together.

I've worked in health care for nearing 20+ years (I started working at a young age) doing everything from private pay in home care, being a CNA in multiple skilled nursing facilities in the north state, patient monitoring in a 5* hospital, being a resident aide in a locked memory care unit, a med tech for a near 200 bed assisted living facility (ALF) to running two separate 6 bed ALFs specializing in dementia care. My heart and passion is for caregiving. I love people & I love making a connection with them. I'm extremely reliable/punctual, patient, trustworthy, compassionate, and caring. I'll care for your loved one as I'd wish for my own to be cared for, with the utmost dignity and respect. I'm a full time student, homeschooling, single mom of two little ones (7 & 3). I'm putting myself through school now and have my two little ones Sunday evenings to Thursday afternoon. I have pretty open availability from Thursday night until Sunday/Monday morning. I'm happy to do small shorter shifts, overnights or a full weekend chunk depending on what suits your situation and your family just message me and we can talk! I'm also available during the week if you're open to my littles ones coming with me. (The current guy I take care of loves with they come to work with me and so does his dog )
