I am a great caregiver who works without supervision and always following the activities of the client as listed. I got attracted to caregiver because when I started the job newly, I worked for loving family who as their caregiver they also care about my two boys and this made me see my clients and their family as my own family too. I love to make sure my clients are clean, well fed and their medicines taken as needed. I like to give my client treat on their birthday and on any celebrated days. Which put smiles on their faces. Ive had Mildly confused patients and also feisty dementia patients. I have worked with stroke, recovering cancer patients, blindness etc. I have started off caring for my great grandmother who started showing symptoms of dementia 5 years ago. Even though it was a tough time for My family we made sure to show her even more love then before. We have done everything for her rather it's just spending the day with her, helping her shower and dress for the day. We accompany her with day to day activities and try to make her feel as normal as possible. Dealing with her situation inspired me to broaden my experience with home care and I have worked for home care Agencies in Pennsylvania, Delaware and parts of New Jersey. I am a patient, kind caregiver who understands all needs of patients. I have worked in nursing homes and private homes as a companion. I am looking for immediate work.
