I'm a great caregiver because I love taking care of people. The reason I became a caregiver was because of my grandmother and my stepmom. As a young girl I had to help my stepmom she had diabetes. She didn't take very good care of herself and had to have her legs amputated. So of course I helped her with her baths, get dressed even though we had nurse to come to our home. Then there was my grandma she had cancer of bladder so I assisted her with doctor appointment and few chores around the house. What I'm most proud of and achievement is being a great parent, terrific and loving grandmother, and a very dedicated , and loyal wife. My family is very important to me. I like to look at my client as if I am caring for my own Loved one is what helps me become a better caregiver. What attracted me to become a caregiver is that I was looking after my grandma and I was the only one around and helping, while other family was out living life when there own mom needed them the most. So after she passed i looked into being a caregiver and have been doing my job every since.
