Being a caregiver makes me do work that has the potential to make a difference in someone's life. My personal achievement that am proud of is having been selected as the best hard-working caregiver that works well in a team and is willing to learn at all times. I do feel that when am older, i'd want someone like myself there to help you if you need help
What makes me a great caregiver is that I'm a caring loving person and I care about my clients/residents and how they feel, I'm a very understanding person, working as a caregiver I consider it my calling not just a job ,I become a caregiver due to being encouraged by my grandmother who is no longer with me, giving her the best care in her last moments and hearing her say you will make a good nurse someday really encouraged me to get in this field, It became a part of me and every person I care for I remember what my granny said to me, So I do it to the best of my ability and each person I touch I try to make a difference in their lives, what I like about being a caregiver is comforting my clients, making them feel safe and secure being there for them just listening to them, understanding their needs ,comforting them and knowing I'm making a difference in their lives. My Personal Achievement is I'm proud I can make someone mom or dad smile and to hear that I'm doing a great d job with their family member, and being able to make a difference is what makes the difference
I served my country in the U.S.A.F. and have worked at the Dept. of Veteran Affairs. I have been a C.N.A. for over 20 plus years and I have experience working in Florida East, Winter Park and Orlando Florida Hospitals,Hospice/Vitas care,Private duty care in St. Louis, Mo. and Franklin,Pa. and several areas here in the Sunshine State of Florida as well as working many nursing homes. Providing care to elderly people has always been exciting to me. Meeting female and male patients who are seeking different individual goals and then helping them to reach their individual goals from restorative care, knee replacements, stroke victims and spinal injury as well as geriatric care. Being a male CNA you must learn to always be professional and to be very discreet when working with all your clients whether they are female or male. I will always make you feel very comfortable and explain everything that I need to do for each different skill that I provide. I have learned to listen to the family and to the patient for the needs as they may change. I love listening to the history and the stories of the lives that they have built. I really believe that listening to the mothers and how they have cared for their own kids and the fathers who stand by their wives while providing them with the excellent care they deserve. Remember it's your turn to be well taken care of by your experienced caregiver. I can also help with medications and medical appointments. I love listening and conversing with the elderly. They have experienced so much and changes in this world. I am fascinated by the stories. I am a loving, kind, trustworthy and dependable person with an easy going personality and I also love animals. I enjoying life and smiling as much as possible and find that my passion is helping other people. Pricing negotiable depending on case. Thank you for your time and reading this. A great caregiver is someone who cares for and nurtures the person as if they were their very own. I became a caregiver because I love to help people. What I like most about being a caregiver is knowing that I got to help someone by doing something that they aren't able to do for themselves. Even something as small as lotioning someone's back can make a person feel loved.

Hello, my name is Annette. I have been a caregiver since the late 90's. I am caring, kind, compassionate, and driven to get the job done. I first became a caregiver because of my passion and care for others and the process of healing. This has proven true to date as I care for families and family members of my own that have gone through mild to severe terminal illnesses such as broken bone(s) and cancer. In my spare time, I enjoy volunteering at homeless shelters, reading, singing, and nature walking. As a caregiver I am most proud of my ability to provide both empathy and sympathy with upmost professionalism. It is my promise to myself and clients to live, practice, and learn from the Golden Rule of life.
I've been a caregiver / companion for about 9years. I really love taking care of the elderly and the sick. I believe it's not just a job, but it's a ministry. I believe they should be taken care of and respected as if it was me or my mom or dad or love one. A caregiver should be compassionate, caring, and trustworthy. I believe that I carry these qualities.
