Hello , I became a caregiver for my grandmother! It's something I love doing ! I've been doing it for awhile now. The thing I love the most about being a caregiver , is helping the elderly. I feel joy & loved when helping & doing something that I love. I'm responsible, respectful.

As a caregiver in the field of medical, I am a Dedicated home health aide , Med Tech who also obtained CPR is willing to obtain a position in you're home with my good interpersonal and communication skills of over 8 years of experience in this field. I will be able to confidently deal with all the level of people working in the organization. I would put all my efforts in research and development of present health care system. And also obtain a position in a Health Care Facility where I can utilize my skills, knowledge and experience to provide quality health care. Took an extra Diabetic class at RIVERSIDE Hosp. in Columbus Ohio for Diabetics, diet ,blood sugar check , shots . Also took extra training at GREEN HILLS NURSING CENTER FOR Dementia and did hands on care for Renal failure , Diet , Dialysis , and Kidney transplant. For 18 years. I'm very down to earth person who is kind , caring with lots of patience. Animal lover as well .

Being a caregiver ( HHA)for 6 years has helped me in so many ways, I have worked mostly Private Duty I love what I do in helping each client I've ever worked with. I do anything from personal hygiene care such as assistance with bathing and dressing to medication reminders. I help with meal preparation and assistance eating. I can do lateral transfers of patients from the bed to a wheelchair and vice versa. I do light housekeeping assistance. I have worked with patient's alzheimers, stroke victims, and the elderly. I lost my daughter in a,car wreck in 1999. It made me think more about life and felt I needed to help people . So I became a a state tested nurse aid work in nursing home for 14 year. 4 years in Alzheimer's unit. Retired and started privet care, stared taking care of Helen Hixson in 2014 left 6 mouth before she died . When she got sick she called me and ask me to come back so she flew me back to take care of her till she passed away. I felt honard she trusted me to take care of her. I have a CPR CERTIFIED and I have a up to date back ground report. I find this is my calling in life. I can do feed tubing ,blood pressure, sugar test pulse and more.
