I'm a great caregiver because I love taking care of people. The reason I became a caregiver was because of my grandmother and my stepmom. As a young girl I had to help my stepmom she had diabetes. She didn't take very good care of herself and had to have her legs amputated. So of course I helped her with her baths, get dressed even though we had nurse to come to our home. Then there was my grandma she had cancer of bladder so I assisted her with doctor appointment and few chores around the house. What I'm most proud of and achievement is being a great parent, terrific and loving grandmother, and a very dedicated , and loyal wife. My family is very important to me. Give me the opportunity to help your family you want be disappointed.

I started in the medical field at the age of 16, because Iknew that that was what i wanted to do. I continued on when I went to the air force working with my fellow soldiers, when I came back home I have worked in Drs office , and ultimately working for elderly and Hospice. It is very fulfilling to know that I can make a difference and put a smile on someones face just by being there. Helping people is my PASSION

I am a experienced caregiver with a tremendous amount of heart and faith in always doing the right thing. I am dependable and honest to a fault. My experience covers a lifetime of caring for individuals in ALFs, hospitals, residential as well as supervising others in the field. Currently, I am a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) in the state of Florida. My degrees include: Graduate Certificate in Gerontology from the University of South Florida (USF), B.A. in Business Administration and a B.S.W. (Social Work). In the past, I had studied Nursing at Hillsborough Community College (HCC). I am fully capable taking a B/P manually or electronically, Hoyer lift, as well as the usual TPR and weights. I have volunteered with Life Path Hospice from fall 2007 - fall of 2010. -- Currently, I am learning German, Finnish, Italian, Indonesian and know basic Spanish. Also, I have had studied basic Korean, French, Norwegian and Swedish languages for the pure joy of learning. If needed, I can work full-time short term (negotiable), live-in a few days a week, daytime or overnight and have had my second COVID vaccine.

I've always enjoyed caregiving - for my younger siblings, my own children, and working with the disabled. I began caring for seniors with my elderly mother-in-law and it was deeply satisfying. I am a certified Home Health Aide, an independent caregiver experienced in all ADLs, medications, transfer needs and dementia. I enjoy the broad range of activities - meal prep, transportation, personal care, medical needs, and one-on-one care allows for a greater level of care, understanding and empathy. Being a caregiver is one of most rewarding things a person can do. The smile on their faces is over whelming and makes me feel I have done my job right. Seeing a smile of appreciation over just a small deed that I do. I like meeting new people and providing caregiving services that they can no longer do for themselves .I enjoy the opportunity to impact clients lives and make a difference to them. I appreciate the change to get to know clients and their families and become an intergral part of theirs lives. I always give 100% and do the best job I can with no exceptions or excuses.

I became a caregiver because I can give people the care and support they need to be all they can be. I'm a happy person. I learned how be a caregiver when my mom had a stroke and I was laid off my job Express Scripts for 27 years as a Registered Pharmacy Technician. I started working in a adult living facility 7 yrs and I've been doing it every since. I love it. Sometimes it can be a challenge. I've taking care of all ages oldest client was 91yrs . They had Alzheimer's and dementia. I give bath, clean house, prepare food, wash clothes , walking exercises, companionship, medication reminder, what ever the client needs required I'm flexible. I live in Tampa. I graduated from High School and a college degree. I have 2 sons and happily married for 32 years. So I can say I'm truly blessed.
