I am a Certified Nursing Assistant. I have been a CNA for a little over 10yrs now. I started off helping to care for my great grandmother, who suffered from Alzheimers Disease, 15yrs ago and i have been doing it every since. I love being able to help others out and that includes both my patients and their families. I've learned that doing the smallest things for people can make their whole day, sometimes their whole life, better. There id nothing more rewarding to me than knowing I've help to make some one a little more comfortable or I've helped give someone a little piece of mind. I know that aging and disabilities take a huge toll on not just the patient but the families also. I love what i do and it gives me peace of mind, to be able to give others a peace of mind and it makes me happy to know i affect so many peoples lives.

I can honestly say through my 28 years in the medical field I found that the most rewarding experience for me is working directly with a resident. Is a wonderful feeling to know that you can help someone on the daily basis, and make a difference in their lives. I think this job is suitable for me, because I have empathy, I care. In the past I took care of my mother in-law for 16 years with a lot of medical history, but the love was always there. Therefore, making a difference going that extra mile and putting a smile on their face makes me happy and that care reflects on me.
I am a very experienced caregiver who managed a team of four on a 24/7 basis taking care of a dementia patient for 7 years. I also had a couple with special dietary needs and physical limitations that I took care of for 7 years. My background has always been one of paying attention to detail, providing exceptional services to my client base and showing that personal touch that makes such a difference. My record is one of diligent reliability and care. The people I took care of became like my family.
I love nursing. I was meant to be a nurse. I firmly belief home is the most compassionate and empathetic care for anyone. Both of my parents and all my grandparents passed at home with caregivers. I enjoy people and learning about their history, families and lives. I am a Christian.
I am a patient, calm and conscientious Caregiver, with over 30 years of service in Nursing Homes, Assisted Living and Adult Family Care Homes.
