I am very positive and upbeat, I am kind and caring, I am very passionate in what I do. There is nothing else I would rather be doing than helping someone else in need. That is where my heart is at. I`ve been in the caretaking field of work for 34 years and have no desire to stop anytime soon. I`ve always felt a call on my life to be a caregiver, my heart has never been drawn anywhere else, it's just that simple. I love what I do. There is nothing more rewarding than being able to help another person, no matter what level of care they require. My biggest personal achievement at present has been moving 1,000 miles away from the only home I have ever known for the last 50 years. On May 12, 2019 I left NY to move South Carolina to be with my husband and my new church family. I stayed behind so I could honor my commitment to my previous client. I am very excited to start the second part of my journey in life with my husband in such a beautiful place. So because of this most recent achievement I can only say I believe in my heart there are still even bigger achievements yet to come.

I became a caregiver because of my mother, At the age of 10 my mother died and I couldn't do nothing to help her. So I decided to get in the medical field for that reason. I love being a caregiver because it is a passion of mine to see people smile, and live there life to the fullest. Some of my achievements are attending school for certification, and also I am now enrolled in school for Health Information Systems and Business Administration. I chose this field because I want to make sure the patients get the treatment, respect, and etc they deserve. I want to see people that take care of these patients act professionally, and treat the patients like the way they (caregivers) would want to be treated. Everybody tells me I have a wonderful personality, and they can tell I care about the patients needs. I like to have fun, spending time with family. I am here to help. I am a great caregiver because I am dependable, honest, and have a caring heart. I love to care for people this is something I have been doing for over 19 years. The thing I love about being a caregiver is being there for someone when they need me. When I became a nurse that was personal achievement.
