I have always loved working with people and people have always taken to me nicely. I am currently in nursing school for my BSN because I want to be able to help people more. I smile a lot and people tell me that my smile makes them feel better. I have been exposed to people with all types of conditions and I have seen a lot.
I have been a CNA for 6 years with experience in all different areas. I am compassionate, loveavle, and caring. I always treat my patients/clients as top priority. I became a caregiver because I've always wanted to help others. Especially when my grandma got diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease it made me want to work with patients with that disease even more. I enjoy seeing my patients/clients feel like they have accomplished a goal or a step towards their goals. I also like making them feel like someone cares for them and has their best interest at heart. I am proud to have the amount of years of experie ce that I have, and I am proud to know that most of my patients from previous companies still compliment my work.
I became an caregiver because i wanted to give back to my community by helping those who are not capable or families that are in need of care. Someone has came into my families life to help my own family at one point when we needed care for my aunt and granny. With assisting with the caregivers I learned that it was my calling. I enjoy and love what I do as being helpful to some difficult situations. My personality fits this type of work due to me being able to connect with love ones or their families by giving companionship and being sincere with my work. Just being able to come into someone(s) life to help a loved one to get care for in the comfort in their own home. Always try to make sure the loved one is comfortable but most importantly they are getting the care they need.

Hello my name is: Minnie Cody. I become a caregiving about 20 years ago to help people to stay independent. I believe in helping everyone to be able to live the life that God has bless them with. And I love everyone. Just try to make those who are not able to care for themselves happy.
I was born to care for others, and knowing I am being helpful is where my joy comes from. I took care of my grandfather when he was sick with cardiovascular and dementia issues from age 11 until he passed away when I was 13. I went to LPN school right out of high school and then went right back to school to further my nursing degree to RN. I started working in the Emergency Room of a state hospital when I was 17 and have been in health care since. Honestly, I am disenchanted and have felt the healthcare system has been broken for the past several years and I am ready to get back to the reason I went into it to begin with. I want to help people, I want a direct relationship with the actual patient/person/client and to do what I can to empower them, assist them, alleviate any discomfort, assist with any need or difficulty, assess to determine what I can do to make your life easier, better, take on any unnecessary burdens. I want to get back to the basics and that is why this type of nursing is what I am seeking. Let me know what you are seeking and we will make it happen. I really look forward to meeting you and to caregiving.
