I am a very compassionate, humble. easy going. honorable, dependable, reliable, and a patience person. I enjoy helping people and get a great since of pride and enjoyment in the difference that I make in their lives and seeing their faces when they have accomplished a tasks. I enjoy listening to them talk about their. Child hood. How they meet their spouses growing up in olden days and learning different ways how to do things by watching them. I received an award for being dependable and reliable and giving good care, and then a compassionate caregiver. And going above and beyond to help coworkers to get the job done.

I am a very outgoing individual, I have worked in caregiving for four years and it has been my favorite line of work. I enjoy going above and beyond and helping others every way I can. I love being able to be the support and help that someone needs. Helping people with daily goals is one of the most rewarding thing when a person can accomplish it. A personal achievement I am most proud of is being able to see the impact I have made on people.

I think what makes me a great caregiver is that i'm caring, honest, trustworthy and dependable. I'm also a very hardworker. Through my years of job hunting I have worked in a variety of fields such as, janitorial, retail, food and then I worked in a retirement home for a year. Now I'm in the dsp field for coming up on a year and I love it. What attracted me to being a caregiver is when I was in an abusive job, I looked and looked for jobs and finally I came upon dsp work, I started not long after and realized that I loved it. I also have always loved helping people and caring for them. I enjoy mostly the smiles I cause, knowing that they can't help themselves or do it all alone and I can help, that's amazing. One of my personal achievements I've conquered is my health/mental health. I've overcome a not that great health history. As for achievements I would have to say the fact I got my cpr/aed certificate and that I've been working on my medication management certificate through the state of iowa. I would love a chance to be part of a family and to help. I've become very interested in being a personal caregiver but also very open to group homes to. (As that's what I do now aside from hourlys) I hope to hear from you and hope to meet/work with someone great!(:
