I'm a retired nurse with many different areas of experience throughout my medical career. My most favorite experiences have been helping and spending time with geriatrics. I truly enjoy assisting them, sitting and visiting with client, hearing about their stories of their past, or about their family. I'm very respectful, reliable, patient, caring individual. I enjoy cats and dogs. Prefer non smoking.

I've been certified for almost three years now but have been giving direct patient/ resident care for about two years. I've worked in just about every setting. From hospital surgical floors to Emergency Rooms to Assisted Living homes to Long Term Care Facilities. I will always listen to the needs of your family member and put their wishes above all. I have enjoyed being a care taker long before I was certified and have known from a very young age that this is what I'm meant to do. I plan on going back to school after taking a break to get my RN.

My mom use to be a CNA doing in house work and I loved watching her do what she did & I got inspired and I been doing this for 4 years now and I love it more every year .

I've worked with multiple people, that never failed to mention how much of a delight I am to have around. Not only do I make sure that someone feels okay, I don't mind cleaning up any messes. In my spare time if I'm not walking my dog I'm always at work. I don't mention on my resume but I also do help babysit my families children. I have great people skills and I love working in a healthy fun environment.

I am 18 years old, and early graduate from Freeport high school, I am attending Highland community college to get my CNA certification after I receive that, I attend to pursue my dream in the healthcare field as a pediatric nurse. I am a caregiver part-time right now at healthcare plus. Some Personal traits I have is having great communication skills being able to communicate With your client is a big part being a caregiver Being trustworthy and being honest is also. Somethings, I love about being a caregiver is getting new Client, and helping them with whatever they need help with. It makes me happy seeing them happy. Being in a health care field has always been a passion of mine, helping my grandparents over the past couple years out really made me choose the Path I want to go pursue, and I felt like being a caregiver would be a great start.
