I'm a quick learner. I like to pay attention to the person I'm caring for so I know their likes and dislikes as well as their wants and needs. I love being able to make a difference in someone's life as well as being the person they can count on. A lot of times, the caregiver is the family they need and I make sure I'm keeping them taken care of in every way I can. I love working with children as well as elderly and disabled people. I have worked in Nursing homes, group homes, hospitals, and State facilities taking care of children, elderly people as well Developmentally Disabled and Mentally I'll individuals. I listen to the needs and concerns of the individual(s) that I am taking care of (working for) and I try to take care of everything asked of me. I address concerns immediately and try to resolve them (or ease them) to the best of my ability! I love to have fun. I am a home body, I don't party. I am excellent with children and children seem to really like me. I can cook, clean, give medicine if needed, swim, go to the park, take children to extra curricular activities, give baths, and put to bed with a bedtime story if that's what needed. I've done it all!!
