I am a very compassionate, caring, patient and understanding . I'm a very hard worker and put my all into everything I do. Going into this field was a no brainer for me , it runs in my family and caring for others is something I've always loved doing. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is probably having the opportunity to be able to help guide and watch individuals accomplishments along the way. The smiles are everything. A personal achievement Im proud of is being able to help my 1:1 expand his vocabulary tremendously in just a few short months.

Hi my name is sierra I am looking to work as a caregiver again because I absolutely love my job as taking care and supporting people . Caregiving in my opinion is the best job I could ever have and knowing that you are helping someone in need . I am currently working towards getting my CNA license . Well I been taking care of my mom or auntie for many years just to help around I would cook clean and remind them when it time to take their medications. However this made me think about being a home caregiver. Even tho I only help my mom and auntie out I enjoy every minute of helping them out I enjoy being around older people. Overall the caregiver job being so much joy to my heart people I always love help someone out no matter the age I love see their different personalities it being joy and you learn a lot to while working with different people. One thing I am proud of that I have achieved the fact that I was a little bit younger when i started help my mom and aunt out but when I got to know what they go through out the daily i just watch closely and learn quickly and just kept either my mom or auntie or track with their daily lives.

I love helping others who need a little or a lot of assistance. I enjoy the happiness I see in the person's face when someone is willing to do something for them. I have a huge heart and compassionate one. I wanted to help people as much as I could after taking care of my mother after she had 2 strokes. I would do this out of pure love for her and would do the same for anyone else who needed it. I would hope that if I was to someday need any assistance , someone with a loving heart and compassion would do the same for me.

I highly doubt writing an "about me" could possibly give you a complete understanding of myself as a person. Let alone myself... as a caregiver. I truly do believe I was put here on earth to "take care" of people, to help people. I have been a caregiver as far back as I can remember. Starting with my siblings. I can not recall a time where I was not taking care of someone or something. Working for Gardenview Manor as the assistant director of activities was truly my "dream job". Taking care of my residents, making sure they had what they needed. (Including yet not limited to physical and mental support. )My job was to "keep everyone happy" and I did just that. I came in everyday seeking every possible solution to any and every problem. If my residents were not content, I did not clock out. I stayed and made sure they got what they needed. That is simply how my heart is wired. There are not many people like myself. I say that with complete gumption and honesty.
