I like helping out. I love cooking for people. I became a caregiver because it is nice seeing how people succeed in life and it's great just being there for my clients

I am a very compassionate, humble. easy going. honorable, dependable, reliable, and a patience person. I enjoy helping people and get a great since of pride and enjoyment in the difference that I make in their lives and seeing their faces when they have accomplished a tasks. I enjoy listening to them talk about their. Child hood. How they meet their spouses growing up in olden days and learning different ways how to do things by watching them. I received an award for being dependable and reliable and giving good care, and then a compassionate caregiver. And going above and beyond to help coworkers to get the job done.

I worked with 5 nurses and 1 doctor for 10 years, then went on my own for 13 years and am still working. I tended to Hospice patients and their families. Personal care and whatever family needed done . Changed linen, did hair, shaved men. My patients were rejuvenated after care. I never let one patientlose their dignity. This care gives me purpose in my life. It has taught me to live life well and take nothing for granted. My work is my life. I just love careing for people, and di any errands for family or let them know they could go run errands while I am taking care of their loved ones. It gave them a much needed break and knowing their loved ones are in good hands with me. I am a Clinton native and everyone knows me. I also saw patients in surrounding areas and Illinoise. Would love to teach Hospice care to aides. What I do you cannot learn in a book. I have so much knowledge, if I dont do alot of Hospuce I would love to have new aides carry on my knowledge and use it as they work. I dont care too much about pay, I just want to work in some capacity in Hospice. Thank you for a chance to make a difference in peoples life, and I know without a doubt.

I am a very outgoing individual, I have worked in caregiving for four years and it has been my favorite line of work. I enjoy going above and beyond and helping others every way I can. I love being able to be the support and help that someone needs. Helping people with daily goals is one of the most rewarding thing when a person can accomplish it. A personal achievement I am most proud of is being able to see the impact I have made on people.

I am a mother of 5 grown beautiful children and have been a CNA for 20+ years. I have worked in ICU ,children hospitals, nursing homes and trained at VA hospital to do tracks to care for 1 of my clients with ALS. I also worked on the altemizer units in the nursing homes. I love what I do and is very important to me to care for the elders whom we love..

I believe that I am a great caregiver because I genuinely care and do my job with love and empathy , I am very patient and down to earth. What has helped me become a great caregiver is that I understand that these are real people that have lived lives that they are no longer in control of so that is where me being patient comes into play because I understand that it can be very confusing and frustrating to suddenly need help. What attracted to being a caregiver is that I honestly have so much respect for older people so I feel like caring for them would be a beautiful way to help them feel themselves and what I enjoy most is that I get to hear many different stories of their lives and seeing them happy , a personal achievement I have is graduating a year early from highschool

Being a caregiver to me means so much more than most! I truly feel that my purpose n life is to care for others to help others! That's what I love doing and I'm going at it I'm very out going always willing to listen and hear others thoughts and opinions!
