Hello my name is Rose, I am big on integrity accountability compassion and loving others I have a heart full of love mercy and grace. What attracts me to caregiving is I am a caregiver by nature I also take care of my mother and her mental and medical disability. I enjoy loving on people and lifting others spirit. A personal achievement I am proud of is coming out of a life of addiction to being spirit filled clean sober and productive member of society. We all fall short of the glory of God. God has taught me how to love myself, love others, and because of his mercy and grace He gives I can give that same to others. I now mentor women that have been thru the same bondages that the Lord took me out of .Also completely my first year of Bible college.

I became interested in caregiving when I first worked in a nursing home doing housekeeping. I saw how nurses neglected the residents and hated it! I became more interested when I was given the opportunity to care for a man who couldn't be mobile due to robbers beating him up.. I made his meals, did his laundry, houeswork, and fed his dog. I also gave him piece of mind enough to sleep. For the first time in months, he slept a full twelve hours in bed (he'd been sleeping in a chair). These simple things mean a lot to someone who can't do them anymore. I'm dependable, trustworthy, patient and, also a mom which means, taking care of others comes naturally..

Hello...My name is Donnie I'm 44 years old and have been in Nursing 26 years. I started in Nursing when I was 18 years old and have worked in several roles. The begining part of my career I worked in housekeeping at Life care of Andover and then moved up. I started as a CNA and loved the interactions with all my patients. I soon became a restorative aide and I assisted with range of motion and therapy guided exercises. During thia time I also passed meds for over 64 people guided by staff nurse. After leaving Andover I found myself working in the hospice field over the last 17 years. Hospice care of Kansas 2005-20011- Harry Hynes 2011-2018 Serenity Hospice 2018 to present. I've Los worked with several families providing private duty for geriatric age parents and coordinated cares with family. I grew up in Andover kansas with amazing elderly neighbors who I spent a lot of time getting to know each one of them. I really enjoy the interactions with the elderly and getting to know who they are

I am a very positive person, I love helping others and taking care of anyone and everyone. I am a mother of 6 beautiful children and I have 2 boys that have passed away. So taking care of others to my full potential and even beyond warms my heart. I don't believe I decided to become a caregiver, I believe I was born to help others... it was a gift given to me. What I Love most about being a caregiver is the bond and trust you develop with each other. One of my personal achievements I am highly proud of is being a wonderful mother and wife and still be able to continue my education and be a positive role model in their lives... never giving up, no matter how hard life gets.
