I have passion for this job because,my sister got blind and she became disabled for the rest of her life.Most clients were not born disabled but due to some issues along their lives,made them be disabled.I enjoy working with these clients as my family,because they need to be treated with love ,respect and dignity and let them know that,they are important in society too.I am available day time shift too,in case you guys need a day time staff also,my pay is negotiable also. I enjoy helping people I have empathy my first experience was with my father who passed away with cancer from the time he was diagnosed he only lived seven months but I learned alot and very quickly with no experience @ the age of twenty years old I also had my brothers I had cooking cleaning bathing him in bed . Before my father my mother fell and broke her lower leg both bones she had a cast on all the way up her whole leg I was only 13 I had to learn how to change sheets on a bed while she was still in it I had to learned how to help get her up and ger get in a wheel chair I had to bathe her in bed & I also had to learn how to help her use a bed pan I did all the cooking and cleaning taking care of my brothers& also go to school also my middle child was born with autism so I feel like I can understand and know how to handle any situation with ant person I helped my son be independent enough he lives and thrives on his own to this very day that was my greatest achievement . I enjoy people but I most enjoyment is being able to help make each day in a persons life much easier

Well I always say the good lord made me for this I have a big heart my residents always called me smiley which I try to always keep know matter how I may feel .I love the elderly there stories just putting a smile on there face ..Well the girls woukd cone get me if they couldn't understand someone because I could just knowing I helped someone and made there day better was always a good day for me .

Hello I'm Ladonna, I am 35 years old, I have three children two girls and a boy ages from 15,10,7. I love being a caregiver because I feel like I miss a lot with my grandparents and I get so close with my clients it's really sad sometimes but you know I enjoy it because I love them just like I would love my own mother or grandmother or father or grandfather. I have also worked with a special needs I had a client he had cerebral palsy and he was in his sixties I worked with him for about 2 years and I just love him and he loves me, we hated to part ways, but things happened and you know I just wasn't able to stay with him and we still talk from time to time and I feel in spots for him. Also I have references. I think that I'm funny, I'm a very good listener, I'm a good cleaner, I have patience, I'm very Stout I can lift quite a bit so that would be an issue if I had to lift them . But most of all I have a good heart ;) And I love the Lord. I trust him with every aspect of my life today.
