My background skills consist of ones that an Occupational therapy assistant can provide. I am honest & dependable. I have reliable transportation. I don't mind helping w light housekeeping & I will also provide help w the outside of a home if needed. I am skilled w medicine management, I'm great at organization, I am good w scheduling appointments as well as taking to & from. I don't mind animals if ever anyone has a pet. What makes me a great caregiver is that I am very responsible, dependable and work my best to make the one I am taking care of feel special and happy every day I care for them. What attracted me to becoming a Caregiver was that I was needing a job since I had just moved back to my hometown and filled out an application with Kelly Girls, an agency that hired people for different jobs. I was called to care for an 80 year + lady and enjoyed it. It was not what I went to College for, but continued to do both working in Administrative work and then part-time as a Caregiver. The thing that I enjoy most about being a Caregiver is the stories of those I care for. There is so much history that they have to share...even those from different parts of the Country and learning how different things were from then to now. My Mother was born in the Depression years and experienced the years of WWII, where 3 of her brothers were part of. It's the elderly who helped build the life around us and them being nurtured by their parents to give us a better tomorrow. I believe the most personal achievement I can say I am proud of is that I was taught good work ethics by my Mom, who was a farm girl. I started working at age 11 and have worked many different types of work and am a fast learner. I paid for my own College and worked at times 2 jobs to pay for my own apartment. In the Caregiving field, I have been taught some things that a Nurse is qualified for, but taught by the family of their loved one how to do certain tasks. I am very respectful of people and their property.

I enjoy Caring for Others because I am here on Earth to Serve others outside of myself. My Goal on a Daily is to make sure that my job of requirements is completed success and done to the request and requirements of Clients and Their Loves Ones.

Team player , hard working, compassionate, quick learner always ready to work

In 2019 my grandmother was diagnosed with bladder cancer, shortly after her starting chemo she began to get extremely sick. During this transition me and my mother were her caregivers. We performed all of her hygiene needs , medical needs and gave her the companionship and comfort that she needed. She passed away August 22nd of 2020 which led me to want to become a caregiver and care for those that were in her shoes.

I've been working in the nursing field for over 18 yrs I love what I do I also did home health for 6yrs I'm currently in school studying for my LPN but I'm not stopping there going for my RN . What I enjoy the most is taking care of people

Hello, My name is Patricia Scott. everyone calls me Patti. The two areas of interest in caregiving for me were children and the geriatrics. I started my caregiving career with children at age 18. I worked over 20 years with children. During that time I also started my caregiving with older adult and those who were physically, mentally handicapped. It wasn't long that I wanted to work with geriatrics fulltime. I areas of interest are light cleaning, meal prep and companionship. If I could say anything about myself it is I take pride in anything I do.
