I love taking care of my patients & making sure they are well taken care of & looking good . It's something that I always wanted to do , got in a medical program in middle school - high school called The HOSA Medical program & knew that's what I wanted to do for a long time . What I enjoy is seeing my patients happy & thriving . Getting my high school diploma & CNA license in the same month.

I am very caring, I love to clean, I am a very neat and tidy person. I am also a very positive person which could be a very helpful trait in caregiving. What attracted me to caregiving is the companionship that I feel our elders lack. They lack having someone there when they need someone the most.

Care-giving became a very important job for me as I continued to work. I got involved with care-giving because one day my parents have to get older and im going to want to know how to take care of them instead of throw them in the nursing home. What I enjoy most about care-giving is that I learn so much while doing it. I achieved many goals while doing care-giving as in learning how to take care of elders the proper way and knowing how to help others.

I am 49, a grandmother & a Christian. Non-smoker. I live in the Swartz area and I have very reliable transportation. I also have a great driving record. I have hands-on experience in several areas concerning seniors. Mobility, transfers, medication, exercise/therapy- speech, occupational & physical. Meals, bathing, errands, doctor appointments, shopping, housekeeping, grooming, entertainment, companionship. I have also provided breathing treatments, CPAP needs, one-dose injections, liquids via peg-tube & working with catheters. I am currently full time caregiver to a senior gentleman.
