I care for anyone at any place in life whether your need is for an accident victim, surgery recovery, or best of all elderly care. People have told me that i am very patient and a good listener. I enjoyed hearing that and i take much pride in being those and other gifts that God gives. What attracted me into being a caregiver is my mother in 2006. She has been a caregiver for 41 years now. There was a facility that she was working in that caregivers work. There was a family lacking a sitter for one lady and they were looking for someone last minute to fill in a shift. My mom called and asked if I could do it and I did not see why not. Even though the overnight shift was a nightmare and even hurt me physically, I decided if I could do go through that then I could go through anyting. :-) What i enjoy most is the learning. For many clients I feel like I should have been the one paying them for what I learn from them. Of course it's not always this way. I would pray so however. I do enjoy learning people and new situations. Every client and their loved ones are different and i don't mind making long term friends.
