I take pride in my work! I have a passion for elderly people, I enjoy listening to there stories, I take care of them like they are my own family! I'm very proud to say my elderly people and their families love me!!

My parents were in the military. I was raised by my grandparents. My grandmother became a live-in caregiver when I was 12 years old. I spent a lot of time helping her care for 2 elderly people. When my grandparents became unable to care for themselves, I took them into my home. I loved them both dearly through all the struggles of aging and illness. Read many books on how to care for them. They have both passed away. I easily connect with older people. I am honest and a dedicated worker. I am a single mom of three. My oldest daughter is a music teacher, my second daughter is serving active duty in the US Navy, and my youngest daughter is 13 and lives at home with me. I am employed as a legal secretary at a law firm in Jena, Louisiana. I am interested in caring for someone in the evenings and/or weekends.

I've been a live-in care giver for 16 years. I enjoy my time with each and each client I meet. I love helping ppl.

I like to help people that need help with daily living. Because some elderly people don't get that help from there families. I like being around to help them. I am a more hands on person than working in a facility. I like to read to them help them in any way that is possible.

I would be a great caregiver. I have 2 kids already & am expecting another one in May I just love working with people young & old I nevery really experience working in a home but I know I could do the job I just recent received my license in June and I love new experiences.

I completed CNA training and state board test passed. Received License. CPR license. I was hired as a live in caregiver immediately for 7 days on 7 off in Plaquemine, La with a lady wheelchair bound that was 101 years old. It took off from there, the love I had for that and most importantly the person I took care of. I love enriching a seniors life and hearing stories of their younger years. I can't say enough about it. It's my calling. I've been a caregiver since 2013. I just came off a 2 1/2 year job in Alexandria, La. worked 7 days on 7 days off. Laid off due to client not being able to pay out of pocket anymore and long term insurance stopped paying unless it was with homecare service. I worked a 2 1/2 job before that job in StAmant, La she lost her home due to the flooding in 2016 and was placed in assisted living. Then nursing home 3 months passed away Christmas morning. We had to be evacuated and her birthday was the day before.! Lost everything she had even the clothes on her back. I got home wen I was able to get back and was called the same day I was referred by someone they needed a fill in in Scott, La so I worked there 3 wks straight until someone was found. I stayed 7 days 24/7 for 3 wks. I always complete a job and go above and beyond for the person I'm taking care of. Reliable and I'm very trustworthy.
