What makes me a great caregiver: 20+ years of experience, knowing how to get creative when things seems complicated, having a passion for what I do. Me,enjoying most about being a caregiver, is seeing a smile on not only on my client face, but the FAMILY as well! One of my personal achievements is: being a single mom of 2 girls, raising both of them to be successful young ladles. The oldest finished high school at the age of 16, then moved on to be a dental assistant at the age of 17 and is now an LPN....moving forward, working on her RN degree. My youngest graduated top of her class, after being home school for 3 yrs. She finished at LSU in 3 yrs, has her Masters from Our lady of the Lake College and is now attending their Fellowship Program to become one of their top leaders in the company

-dependable, caring , understanding, reliable, attention-based , outgoing, -wanting to help people in need, everyone doesn't have people in their life that are able to help them to level that they may need, sometimes people need help, so wanted to be that person that was able to do so. -What I enjoy most, being someone that a person can depend on for help and assistance, as I stated everyone doesn't have that help available to them. -a personal achievement that I am most proud of is graduating college, going through and completing such a milestone .

What makes me feel wonderful and have a great mind set about it is that you meet some of the most amazing people in the world. One thing for sure this is where my heart is I love taking care of the elderly and I treat them right and respect and love these people. If I would ever have to be in their situation I would want someone to take care of me and to treat me right.. I'm there to do my job and I'm a very good caring caregiver and I definitely go in the home or facilities and get the job completed! My mom inspired me she was a lpn for a very long time she told us so many stories about the elderly as I got older I wanted to follow in her footsteps my hero[?]... this is my calling and I take my job serious. I have been working with many patients over the last two years, with many different illnesses. I've seen and had the opportunity to deal with all of them and the wonderful people who had them also, and I believe that is what makes me a great caregiver, because I have plenty of experience. I also just enjoy helping people! I also have a 9 month old baby boy!!! He cheers everyone up! And most of my residents get the chance to meet him!
