I am a great empathetic caregiver because I am very compassionate about my work. I have been working in healthcare for over 6 years now. I'm just a person who is always reaching out to help people. I wanted to join healthcare ever since I was a little girl because I inspired to be someone that is able to help someone in need. I became a certified nursing assistant in May of 2000. I have worked in many specialties in the healthcare field which consists of med-surg, telemetry,Icu,Brain and Injury, Rehab and Pacu. I also worked in Hospice, and home health for 15 years. I am currently working towards Nursing degree.

What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is it helps me greatly and gives me the courage to take care of my son who is autistic. I'm a good listener, I have patience, respect,empathy, and I will respect their privacy. What made me want to become a caregiver so I can make a great difference in someone's life. I've always been the compassionate person caring for other even when I was teenager. Come up watching my mother and grandmother as nurses and childcare provider it became natural to me. So when started high school I enroll in Nurseing program pass with excellent grades during I class hours we went to nursing home for hand on experience I then new this was what I liked doing. During summer break of school I work at local nursing home facility also had to attend monthly educational inservices were I learn the RESIDENTS RIGHTS,HIPPA, BIOHAZARD POLICY and INFECTION CONTROL .
