I became a caregiver because I love working with the elderly,I am a people person I've been doing this for 7 years ,I enjoy helping and making a difference in people's lives, my greatest goal are to keep my clients happy and satisfied

I took care of my sick mother until she passed away. Later, a friend introduced me to the field of caregiving. Though I had formerly been a school teacher, caregiving fit like a glove. A client once asked me why I chose this profession, and I told her that I wanted to make a difference in people's lives. I offer personal care, housekeeping services, and companionship. When my client was dying, I held her hand the entire time, not knowing that the daughter had entered the room and observed my action. After her death I received a note from the daughter describing how she had been touched by my action. As a former teacher, I am punctual, compassionate, empathetic, and sentimental; I laugh and cry with my clients. My current job involves caring for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in their homes. I have recently been providing a client with personal hygiene in the morning through CareLinx.

I am a person with a strong character...I love my job and I am discipline . I am attracted to caregiving jobs because I love to care for people and I feel satisfied taking care Of people who can not do them for themselves. I enjoy the joy it gives me,, the satisfaction,,the peace of mind. I have been able to put smiles on thousands of my clients

What I enjoy most about caregiving is, making my (clients, residents or patients), feel like people. Keeping a smile on their faces. Before I started a job as a caregiver, I volunteered at the Pre-Ops of Sinai hospital in Baltimore forsix (6) hours, 3 days a week.I care about people, I am a very loving and caring person, full of empathy and I am learning so much in this chosen career from my clients. We play cards sometime and some of them watch their favorite game show on T.V and cooking is also a delight to me.
