I been working in the home health care field well over 10 years now. I'm very supportive and caring. I've been fortunate to work with some great families in the Ann Arbor communities and beyond. I love being able to put smiles on others faces and just being there to lend a helping hand at times for others in need. I'm extremely dependable, compassionate,and nurturing. I've worked several cases and experienced a lot of different challenges.I like working in this field because it's what I have the passion to do.I enjoy caring and helping out when help is needed.I'm also a self-motivated caring person that's trustworthy and loyal.

My name is Rebecca. I've been a professional care giver for over 19years. I love my job because it has so many rewards within itself. I've managed a 6 man group home for the last 4 years with only minuscule issues. Regardless of the fact that I have children at home I'm quite flexible with scheduling although I would love to work mornings while my children are at school, it's not a must and I have no problem doing overtime.

My passion has always been taking care of the Elderly. I love them as if their were my own grandparents. I always treat them with love and respect. I also give them my trust and honesty and make them feel comfortable; I will do whatever I can to continue to treat them with the upmost respect.

I have always loved helping and taking care of people as a child. I realized it was a talent I had when I grew up and I have loved it ! I enjoy working with people. I treat people with the respect and love they deserve. For my graduate degree I majored in Social Work and Gerontology because I wanted to learn how to serve people better.. In order to paid for my education I worked as a care giver. I loved caring for people and learned so much from the monthly training conducted by professionals in the health care field. When I did my first internships at a center for seniors. I had such a great time working with members of the elderly population that I decided to continue working in that area. I mostly enjoy caring for others, giving back to those who served others in many ways during their younger years or when they were physically capable to do so. Its my way of giving back to the community. I get a great sense of satisfaction when I help someone recover, achieve the best in live possible with the physical and/or mental limitations they gave. And from hearing how thankful the patients and relatives are for the level of service I have provided.

I am fully vaccinated, and have my booster. I haven't been able to submit an image of my vaccination card to the site, but if you are interested in hiring me, I can send the image through communications (texts, email, etc.). I like to make my patients laugh, regardless of what the task is, whether I am helping them clean up an accident, or helping them get dressed, it can be a fun experience for both of us. I have received personal letters saying thank you for being so kind and patiently caring, from families and patients themselves. I am skilled at what I do. I do things thoroughly. I am stronger than I look, I can easily transfer people larger and taller than me. I know when to lower someone to the ground during transfers to prevent them from falling and hurting themselves. I know how to determine normal vital signs, and blood sugar levels. I have worked in nursing facilities, and respond well in emergency situations. I do have a cat allergy.

I have always had a passion for care giving.I enjoy caring for individuals.I,am frist aid &CPR trained certified,CNA,certifed Experienced in wound care,can operate a nebulizer machine,i enjoy being a caregiver for me it's not just a job ,it's another way to connect to people that can't do for them self.my personal achievement ,my neice was born 3 months premature,i worked with u of m Doctors & nurses to learn the best way to care for at home.
