Hello I am Tanisha Knight, Before I started working in this field of health care. I took great passion and love to care for my mother who was terminally ill 23 years ago. After that I knew I was meant to do this line of work. Giving a person hope after loosing all hope is the beauty in why I love working in the health care field.

I have cared for my grandmother when I was 12.. from then on I knew I wanted to help people in need..tasks I provide is meal prepping medication reminders or administer..errands..light house keeping .bathing.. laundry..Hospice cares..ADLS cares if needed! Can provide 1.1 ..vitals.i am Cpr certified .... cares include ..dressing..bathing...grooming...feeding if needed...exercises include walking if the client is able...outings can include church services.... cath care..ostomy care...can operate a hoyer lift or easy stand...can do blood sugars...I can provide cares also At hospitals and ..facilities.. Socialization..companionship is also a must.....I can work monday thru friday 8 to 12 hours shifts ...every other weekend...can also work shorter shifts ...and holidays are time and a half. paid milage for long distances .. since I won't be with my family during that time ...

Giving people in need a genuine care and support is something I am incredibly enthusiastic about. The opportunity to significantly impact the lives of people i would be assigned is what appeals to me the most about this work.

I know this sounds lame, but I always knew I wanted to be a nurse. I love the rewarding feeling I get from giving. Now, when I was a kid that was another story. I carried all of my toys in a brown grocery bag and you would have to fight me to get me to share! I love listening and learning from others. I feel that this has only improved my caregiving skills. I have worked with all ages, races, religions, disabilities and I treat each person the same. We all deserve dignity and respect regardless of our situation. I'm kind, but love to laugh and have a good time. Most importantly I know how to act appropriate for the situation. I believe an achievement that I can truly be proud of everyday is that I have the ability to take life as it comes and always put things into perspective. I hold my family close to my heart. I can provide a reciprocal relationship of professional care and companionship.

I've been a caregiver for over a year now. I first got into it because I like being able to help those who have difficulty helping themselves with day to day activities. I enjoy being a caregiver because it gives me a sense of purpose to be able to provide help to those who need it.

I just love helping people becuase it reminds me of times when my grandparents where living. The older generation gives the best advice! I love learning from them!

I have a positive attitude and love to learn and help others that are in need. Have been in this field over 10 years, and love what I do. What attracted me to be in this field was not having my parents in my life and wanting to help others that don't have anyone to help them. What I enjoy about being a caregiver is that I can spread love and kindness in this job. The one major thing I am very proud of is being able to raise 6 kids by myself and making it. I love my family.
