Hello I am Tanisha Knight, Before I started working in this field of health care. I took great passion and love to care for my mother who was terminally ill 23 years ago. Can provide 1.1 ..vitals.i am Cpr certified .... cares include ..dressing..bathing...grooming...feeding if needed...exercises include walking if the client is able...outings can include church services.... cath care..ostomy care...can operate a hoyer lift or easy stand...can do blood sugars...I can provide cares also At hospitals and ..facilities.. Socialization..companionship is also a must.....I can work monday thru friday 8 to 12 hours shifts ...every other weekend...can also work shorter shifts ...and holidays are time and a half. paid milage for long distances .. since I won't be with my family during that time ...

Giving people in need a genuine care and support is something I am incredibly enthusiastic about. The opportunity to significantly impact the lives of people i would be assigned is what appeals to me the most about this work.

I've been a caregiver for over a year now. I first got into it because I like being able to help those who have difficulty helping themselves with day to day activities. I enjoy being a caregiver because it gives me a sense of purpose to be able to provide help to those who need it.

I cared for my grandmother for six years and my mother for a year when she broke her hip I also had a client I cared for until he passed away in December and I have worked with hospice several times once here with Tom and in Ohio I worked with hospice with several clients I just enjoy being around the seniors they have so much to offer and listening to their stories I really enjoy I also enjoy showing them things that I do and I like to involve them in things that I do and have them show me things that they used to do and do it I just get a lot of joy out of seeing them smile and listen to them

I just love helping people becuase it reminds me of times when my grandparents where living. The older generation gives the best advice! I love learning from them!

I have a positive attitude and love to learn and help others that are in need. Have been in this field over 10 years, and love what I do. What attracted me to be in this field was not having my parents in my life and wanting to help others that don't have anyone to help them. What I enjoy about being a caregiver is that I can spread love and kindness in this job. The one major thing I am very proud of is being able to raise 6 kids by myself and making it. I love my family.

The things I enjoy more about being a caregiver will be listening to my residents about their lives. The personal achievement that I am proud of will be, bring pregnant in the 12th grade without dropping out of High school and graduating.
