I'am a compassionate person , Im a good listener and I am very attentive. What attracted me to be a care giver is when I had my daughter 14 yrs ago and she was a micro premature baby weight 1 pound 7 oz. And my child disable. So alot of the this I stated that I can provide I still do them on a daily for her , she has the mentality of a 5yr old she cant dress herself and still is not potty trained. But I love to take care people. I love to see feel loved and enjoy themselves and to know that there is someone other than family will care too.My personal achievement was getting my cna and medical assistants awhile working a full time job at a clinic, and had a baby in the nic-u for 7 months.
As a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant and personal fitness trainer, I have a huge heart for taking care of others. This is the greatest gift that God has given me. I am incredibly compassionate, caring, encouraging, motivating, and attentive to detail. I am a full time personal trainer and I own my own business but I thought of doing care-giving on the weekends when I am not training clients in order to help pay for a missions trip I am going on this summer to Africa. I started working with an 88 year old female client this past year as an in home trainer. When she fell ill and ended up in the hospital, her family asked me to see her 7 days a week to do care-giving duties as well as physical therapy rehab. Her doctor told me that he did not think she would live through the process and was absolutely amazed when she recovered stronger than before. This has been, as a trainer, and as a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant, my greatest personal achievement in working with a client. What I enjoy most about being a caregiver is the relationship I form with both the client and their family members. I have such a heart for the elderly, as I have worked in many skilled nursing facilities doing physical therapy, and I have lost in the past few years, both my grandma and grandpa. I think that it really helps give a family peace of mind when they find a caregiver who is not only competent and capable of taking care of their loved ones, but also someone who truly cares about that persons' well being.
I'm a caregiver because I treat my clients as individual, I treat them like I would my parents.. I became a caregiver because of my daughter.. She had cerbal palsy and was a quadriplegic and I had to learn how to take care of her life until her passing.. I love to take care of people who may need help, or just companionship... My personal achievement is the satisfaction in knowing that I was able to help or be there for the family and client in their own time of need..
I've always had a passion for helping other and was always compassionate about anything that was influenced/suggested no matter if it was big or small. I became a caregiver because I'm dependable and when they feel like a little of their independence has been lost I'm committed to reassuring them that they are in good hands. I let the person that I'm caring for know I'm nearby and willing to guide them every step in when especially when help is need the most.
I became a caregiver because I enjoy helping the less fortunate, the disabled and handicap. Taking care if my dad before he passed of throat cancer inspired me. I go above and beyond for my clients. I love playing a variety of games, chatting and making my clients feel special. Lifting their spirit about aging. Helping them keep their dignity and Maki g them feel young again, or helpful instead of helpless.
I am a fun outgoing caregiver who strongly believes in aging with grace and dignity, and on your own term. Maintaining independence is key to this. Let me help keep you in your home. I have been a LPN for 6 years and was a CNA for 20 years prior to becoming a nurse. I have the experience necessary to care for your loved one.
I have been working in an RCF that houses Mental Health clients. I absolutely love my job but seeking more daytime hours. I am licensed as a MA-1, to give insulin, and in First Aid and CPR. In our homes, we are responsible for every aspect of client care (Medicine, Ordering, Charting, Doctors Appointments, Speaking with family, pharmacies, and medical staff, housekeeping and meals). I love life! I am a positive person and believe the glass is half full! I try to infect everyone around me with the ideology that there was a blessing this morning when we woke up. We woke up! This character has helped me to help others. I would love the chance to make your special someone's day brighter. Have a blessed day!
