I have experience with cerebral palsy, autism, handling g tubes, neuromuscular disorders, type 1 diabetes (have it myself as well), epilepsy, and Cornelia de Lange syndrome. I also have 5+ years of experience with the elderly and have experience with dementia, diabetes, dialysis, stroke victims, bathing/ dressing, toileting, transfers, hoyer lift, gait belt, lift to stand, and meal preparation. You don't have to be born or aged to have a disability. I feel that any one of us could be disabled if an accident happens. And if that did happen, I would hope that I had caring individuals to also help me. I want to help and care for someone the way I would want to be cared for. To be respected the way I would want respect. I enjoy being able to help. Bringing someone into your home requires a lot of trust. I am honest and trustworthy. My greatest achievement has been being able to witness true happiness in a highly disabled individual!

Hi I'm a great caregiver because my goal is make my clients comfortable and happy. I take care of each client like their my own family and to make as normal as I can to the client for at home. My name is Brianna Weppner. I am a 20 year old outgoing and friendly person. I have a 5 month old daughter, and 2 sons, ages 7 and almost 6. I do believe i would be an excellent caregiver, as I took care of my 70 year old grandmother months before she passed, plus my children. I really have always wanted to be a caregiver to help elderly people, or even younger people in their times of need. I watched my grandmother struggle for almost 10 years and I realized how helpful I really was when she needed something she could no longer get to. I have always wanted to do something like this because I know one day i will be searching for someone to take care of me. I enjoy the fact that i get to help someone out, that i get to put a smile on someones face by just completing a small task for them. I enjoy helping others because I know if they were able, they wouldnt have to ask for help, as well as, some people are very stubborn and would rather try to do it themselves rather than asking for help. I am very proud of the fact that I like to help others, just the most simple little thing could make someones whole day/week the best theyve ever had. I love being able to sit and talk about life and things they have done or would like to do in their life. I am a person who just loves to talk to someone other than my kids, while also helping with the things they need done.
