I use to take care of my elderly grandma who raised me every since she past I said I always wanted to care for the elderly who is helpless and need help daily because one day you never know who might need to help you ,I work with disable clients also which I'm now for 8 years a celebral palsy client through the day time and I'm a people person who love to see a smile on some one else face and I have kids also ,so elderly ,disable and kids is my passion in life and that's what I love to do and my goal is to continue helping those n need and further my career n life and hopefully continue school in the medical field

I became a caregiver because I helped take care of my grandmother for over 3 years until she was placed in a nursing home. By doing that it motivated me and became my passion.

Hello! My name is Felisha Evans. My expertise include excellent verbal and written communication. Among the many CNA skills, strong communication skills are one of the most important. I really enjoy working with the elderly and disabled. Which is why I am a Counselor at MDRS. I Help provide personal care attendant services to those living in the community that may be at risk of going into a nursing facility. I help avoid the facilities so that the elderly and disabled are able to live independently in there homes and community safety. My expertise also include, observation skills, ability to follow set rules and protocol, time management, organizational skills, and lastly empathy and compassion. When I was just starting out in college I know I wanted to be something where I could give back to the community and I found it by becoming a CNA and going even further and getting my degree and becoming a counselor at the department of rehabilitation. I enjoy being able to be a light to someone who may not be having a great day. I hope that by seeing me walk in the door they get excited.
